Purpose: The clinical efficacy and safety of Qiming Granule in the treatment of nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy(NPDR)were evaluated by Meta-analysis.Material and method:Through the use of Chinese and foreign literature databases: China Knowledge Network(CNKI),Wanfang,VIP(VIP),Pubmed,EMbase,Cochrane Library,search from the establishment of the library to January 2019,using Qiming Granule as the main intervention to treat NPDR randomization The study was conducted on a randomized controlled trial(RCT).By using NoteExpress to remove duplicate files,by reading the title of the document,the full text,according to the inclusion criteria,exclusion criteria,finally get the article in line with this study.The quality of the included literature was evaluated using Cochrance reviews Handbook 5.1.0.Meta analysis was performed using RevMan5.3 software,and the results were finally obtained.Results:A total of 29 articles were included,with a total of 2820 patients with NPDR,including 1425 in the Qiming Granule group and 1395 in the control group.The overall quality of the literature was not high.Meta-analysis results showed that the total effective rate of Qiming Granule group was significantly better than that of the control group,OR=3.60,95% CI [3.00,4.33],Z=13.65,P<0.00001(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant;The visual acuity improvement of Qiming Granule group was better than that of the control group,MD=0.17,95% CI [0.13,0.20],Z=8.55,P<0.00001(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant;The degree was better than the control group,MD=-14.54,95% CI [-20.84,-8.23],Z=4.52,P<0.00001(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant;the average sensitivity of the visual field of the Qiming Granule group improved.Compared with the control group,MD=6.18,95% CI [4.49,7.39],Z=9.99,P<0.00001(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant;the retinal circulation time of the Qiming Granule group was not significantly different from the control group.Change,MD=-0.34,95% CI[-0.86,0.18],Z=1.30,P=0.20(P>0.05),the difference was not statistically significant;the TCM symptom score of Qiming Granule group was significantly better than the control group,OR =2.21,95% [1.51,3.23],Z=4.11,P<0.0001(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant;the degree of TC reduction in the Mingming granule group was better than that of the control group,MD=-0.25,95% CI [-0.32,-0.18,] Z=6.92,P<0.00001(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant;there was no significant difference between the TG content in the Qiming Granule group and the control group,MD=-0.04,95% CI[-0.19,-0.11,],Z =0.52,P=0.6(P>0.05),the difference was not statistically significant;the HDL-C content in the Qiming Granule group was not significantly different from the control group,MD=-0.13,95% CI[-0.34,0.08,],Z =1.23,P=0.22(P>0.05),the difference was not statistically significant;the LDL-C content in the Qiming Granule group was not significantly different from the control group,MD=-0.41,95% CI [-1.08.,0.26,],Z=1.21,P=0.23(P>0.05),the difference was not statistically significant;the incidence of adverse reactions in the Qiming Granule group was significantly lower than that of the control group OR=0.17,95% CI[0.08,0.37],Z=4.51,P =0.0001(P < 0.05),the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:Qiming Granule has obvious curative effect on the treatment of NPDR,and it has certain safety.However,it is necessary to analyze more high-quality RCT research literature to obtain more reliable conclusions on its efficacy and safety.
