Objective:To explore the association between coronary heart disease with stable angina, syndrome of spleen deficiency with phlegm turbidity and lipid-inflammation metabolism based on the conception of ‘combination of disease and syndrome' in coronary heart disease with stable angina, syndrome of spleen deficiency with phlegm turbidity. To explore the biological basis of coronary heart disease with stable angina, syndrome of spleen deficiency with phlegm turbidity by combining macro-system with micro-system.To provide a new, valuable research interest to macro-syndromes' microscopic studies. Methods:The research was based on the results of the research “curative mechanism and regular patterns of the method ‘treating through the spleen' treating coronary heart disease with stable angina, the syndrome of spleen deficiency with phlegm turbidity” led by Professor Guanlin Yang. The research team recruited 240 patients.Their general conditions,TCM syndromes, blood lipid and inflammation markers were collected to set up a database.Binary logistic regression model and spearman correlation test as well as other methods were used to analyze the association between stable angina of coronary heart disease, syndrome of spleen deficiency with phlegm turbidity and lipid-inflammation metabolism.Results:1.Binary logistic regression model of scavenger receptor class B and severity of the spleen deficiency with phlegm turbidity syndrome in coronary heart disease with stable angina(B=0.047,Sig=0.027,Exp(B)=1.049).2.There was a positive correlation between chest pain, which was a primary symptom in TCM syndrome scale of stable angina of coronary heart disease syndrome of spleen deficiency with phlegm turbidity, and MCP-1(P<0.01,r=0.196),as well as between chest pain and scavenger receptor class B(P<0.05,r=0.134).3.As to the secondary symptoms in TCM syndrome scale of stable angina of coronary heart disease syndrome of spleen deficiency with phlegm turbidity, loose stool was negatively correlated with high-density lipoprotein(P<0.05,r=-0.143).Stuffy feeling in the stomach was positively correlated with oxidized low-density lipoprotein(P<0.01,r=0.171).Heavy limbs, sallow complexion, uncomfortable bowel movement, heavy head, anorexia were positively correlated with oxidized low-density lipoprotein(P<0.05,r=0.163?0.152?0.145?0.143?0.143).Heavy limbs was positively correlated with scavenger receptor class B(P<0.05,r=0.142)as well as MCP-1(P<0.01,r=0.187).Loose stool and heavy head were positively correlated with MCP-1(P<0.05,r=0.148?0.136).Anorexia,heavy limbs, sallow complexion, uncomfortable bowel movement were positively correlated with VCAM-1(P<0.05,r=0.159?0.145?0.143?0.131).Conclusions:1.There might be correlation between scavenger receptor class B and Severity of the spleen deficiency with phlegm turbidity syndrome in coronary heart disease with stable angina.2.Severity of the symptoms of coronary heart disease with stable angina, the syndrome of spleen deficiency with phlegm turbidity such as chest pain, loose stool, stuffy feeling in the stomach, anorexia, heavy limbs, sallow complexion, uncomfortable bowel movement and heavy head were correlated with the abnormality of lipid-inflammation metabolism.3.Abnormality of lipid-inflammation metabolism might be part of the modern biological basis of coronary heart disease with stable angina, the syndrome of spleen deficiency and phlegm turbidity.
