Professor Wang Xin's Experience In Treating Endometriosis Dysmenorrhea Based On The Theory Of Blood Stasis

Endometriosis(EMT in abbreviation)dysmenorrhea is a common gynaecology but also a stubborn disease.It ofen occurs in women of bithbearing age,which typical symptom is dysmenorrhea,with secondary or progressive exacerbation.The incidence of it is rising year by year,on the other hand,EMT dysmenorrhea greatly effects patients' life and work in some severe cases.EMT dysmenorrhea is one of the most important research subjects in gynecotokology,as its pathogenesis is still undefined and specific therapy is lacking.Modern medicine therapies,such as expectant treatment,drug treatment and surgical treatment,are effective but difficult to cure radically.Expectant treatment and drug treatment may bring side effects such as liver and kidney damage,menstrual disorders,thrombosis risk,and high recurrence rate after drug withdraw.Surgical treatment has a low recurrence rate,but it is limited with patient age,fertility requirements and poor acceptance.Different from modern medicine therapies,traditional Chinese medicine therapies with unique features like treating both root causes and symptoms,very exact effect and less side effects,are easy to be accepted by patients.In addition to oral Chinese medicine treatment,there is also external application of Chinese medicine,herbal enema,acupuncture therapy and many other treatments,so that treatment effect has been significantly improved.My graduate teacher-Professor Wang Xin,according to her years of empirical analysis and summary in clinical,believes that EMT dysmenorrhea is mainly related to the function imbalance of internal organs,the disorder of qi and blood,and being invaded by exogenous pathogen.She presents the blood stasis is main cause of disease,which also depends on Deficiency and Excess.If Excess,it is more related to stagnation of the circulation of vital energy,cold coagulation and heat burning etc.;If Deficiency,it is more related to qi deficiency or kidney deficiency.Clinical treatment follows "to cure symptoms if urgent,to cure root cause if not urgent" as the basic principle,takes "removing blood stasis and relieving pain" as important therapy,considering syndrome differentiation and the menstrual cycle,cooperating with the external treatment at the same time,combining with the psychological aftercare,in the end the clinical effect is remarkable.
