Purpose To investigate whether there are differences in image quality between 110KV and Sn100KV CT scans in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)and pulmonary alveolar proteinosis(PAP).Method 50 patients with COPD were selected,and 110KV and Sn100KV dual-phase chest CT scans were performed to compare the objective scoring and subjective scoring of the inspiratory and expiratory chest CT image quality under the two tube voltages.Forty patients with PAP were enrolled,and 110KV and Sn10KV chest CT scans were performed to compare the objective scores and subjective scores of CT image quality under the two tube voltages.Result CT scan of 110KV and Sn100KV in COPD patients,the objective scoring of inspiratory CT image quality were 17.2±11.2HU,17.8±11.0HU,subjective scoring were 4.42±0.23,4.40±0.31,respectively,there was no significant difference in subjective and objective scoring of image quality(P=0.078 and 0.121,respectively);objective scoring of expiratory CT scan were 20.7±14.5 HU,21.2±14.0 HU,and subjective scores were 3.73±0.52,3.86±0.32;respectively,there was no significant difference in subjective scoring and objective scoring between the two tube voltage CT scans(P=0.083 and 0.322,respectively).CT scan of 110KV and Sn100KV in PAP patients,the objective scoring of CT image quality were 10.6±7.8HU,10.9±7.6HU,subjective scoring were 4.54±0.21,4.39±0.30,respectively,there was no significant difference in subjective and objective scores between the two CT scan images(P=0.096 and 0.131,respectively).Conclusion There was no significant difference in the image quality between the Sn100KV and the 110KV chest CT dual phase scan in COPD patients.There was no significant difference in the image quality between Sn100 KV(low tube voltage)and 110KV(conventional tube voltage)chest CT scan in PAP patients.Purpose To explore the difference of CT pulmonary function parameters between 110 KV and SnlOO KV CT scan in patients with COPD and explore the correlation between CT pulmonary function parameters and pulmonary function parameters.Method 50 patients with COPD were performed with 110KV(conventional dose)and Sn100KV(low dose)for inspiratory and expiratory chest CT scan and were measured CT pulmonary function parameters.The differences of CT pulmonary function parameters between the two tube voltages were compared.Of the 50 patients with COPD,40 were underwent pulmonary ftmction tests,correlation analysis was performed between CT pulmonary function parameters and pulmonary function test parameters.Result There was no significant difference between the CT pulmonary function parameters of the Sn100KV CT scan and the CT pulmonary function parameters of the 110 KV CT scan(P?0.05).There were correlations between multiple CT pulmonary ftmction parameters and clinical pulmonary function parameters.The correlation between LAA%-950in of 110 KV CT scan and FEV1/FVC was stronger(r=-0.76),Vex,MLDex,LAA%-950ex,LAA%-856 ex were strongly correlated with FEV1/FVC(r>0.70,all).The correlation between LAA%-950in of SnlOOKV CT scan and FEV1/FVC was stronger,Vex,MLDex9LAA%-950ex,LAA%-856 ex were strongly correlation with FEV1/FVC.Conclusion The CT pulmonary function parameters of the Sn100KV CT scan has a good correlation with the lung ftmction test parameters.The CT scan of Sn100KV can evaluate the lung function of patients with COPD.Purpose To explore tlie difference of CT pulmonary function parameters between 110 KV and SnlOO KV CT scan in patients with PAP and explore the correlation between CT pulmonary function parameters and pulmonary function parameters.Method 35 patients with PAP were performed with 110KV(conventional dose)and Sn100KV(low dose)for chest CT scan and were measured CT pulmonary function parameters.The differences of CT pulmonary function parameters between the two tube voltages were compared.35 patients were underwent pulmonary function tests at same time.The correlation between CT pulmonary ftinction paraineters and pulmonary function test parameters was analyzed.Result There was no significant difference between the CT pulmonary function parameters of the Sn100KV CT scan and the CT pulmonary function parameters of the 110 KV CT scan(P?0.05).TThe lung volume of 110 KV and Sn100KV CT scan were correlated with FEV1% and FVC% respectively.The lung density of 110 KV and Sn100KV were negatively correlated with FEV 1%,FVC%,DLCO and DLCOA/VA%.Conclusion The CT pulmonary function parameters(lung volxune and lung density)of the Sn100KV CT scan have good correlation with the lung function test parameters.The CT scan of SnlOOKV can evaluate the lung function of patients with PAP.
