Clinical Observation Of Gukang Prescription Combined With Vertebroplasty In The Treatment Of Osteoporotic (kidney-yang Deficiency) Vertebral Compression Fractures

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Gukangfang combined with Percutaneous vertebral angioplasty(PVP)in the treatment of primary osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture(OVCF)(kidney yang deficiency type),to explore its effectiveness and safety and provide basis for its further promotion in clinical practice.Methods: Eighty patients with primary OVCF(kidney yang deficiency)who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria were selected from March 2018 to September 2018 in Changde Hospital affiliated to Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The patients were randomly divided into observation group(Gukangfang+PVP operation treatment group)and control group(alendronate+PVP operation treatment group),Both groups were supplemented with calchid.The TCM symptom scores,bone density,pain VAS score,Cobb angle measurement and vertebral compression ratio change before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Statistical analysis was performed to evaluate the clinical efficacy.Results: 1.Both groups of treatment can significantly improve the pain score of patients,compared with before treatment,the difference was statistically significant on the first day after treatment and 6 months after treatment(P<0.05).The VAS scores in the control group were similar,and the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).2.Both groups could improve the TCM symptom scores,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The TCM symptom scores of the patients were significantly higher than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Both groups of treatments could improve the bone mineral density of the patients.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance(P > 0.05),and the therapeutic effects of the two groups were comparable;4.After surgery,both groups could improve the vertebral compression ratio and Cobb angle,and the improvement level was equivalent.After 6 months of treatment,the vertebral compression ratio and Cobb angle were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference compared with postoperative(P > 0.05),indicating the long-term treatment of the two groups.The observation was basically equivalent in maintaining the patient's vertebral compression ratio and Cobb angle.Conclusion: Gukangfang combined with pvp in the treatment of primary OVCF(kidney yang deficiency)can reduce the compression ratio of fractured vertebral body and Cobb angle,increase bone density and relieve pain.No toxic and side effects and adverse reactions have been found in clinical practice,which is worthy of further promotion.
