Meta-analysis Of The Diagnostic Value Of Ultrasound Elastography For Thyroid Microcarcinoma

objectiveTo evaluate the value of the application of ultrasonic elastography on thyroid microcarcinoma by meta-analysis.MethodsRelated literatures in Pubmed、Embase、CNKI、WANFANG and VIP databases about microcarcinoma by ultrasonic elastography were searched.The literatures were evaluated and screened according to the QUADAS standards.STATA 12.0 and Meta-disc 1.4 were used to merge the included results.Results18 studies were included for review.Involving 2204 Thyroid nodules.Results showed there were malignant nodules 1064 and benign nodules 1140 in number.The pooled estimate sensitivity and specificity of UE were 0.87(95%CI,0.85-0.89)and 0.86(95%CI,0.84-0.88).The pooled estimate positive likelihood ratio,negative likelihood ratio and diagnostic odds ratio of LUE were 6.30(95%CI,4.58-8.67),0.13(95%CI,0.09-0.19),50.98(95%CI,29.84-87.11).and weighted SROC area under the curve of 0.9413.ConclusionUltrasonic elastography have high value in thyroid microcarcinoma.
