Objective:To analysis the pathological expression of Cyclin G and CC chemokine ligand-27 and explore their possible clinical significances in secondary acquired middle ear cholesteatoma.Method:Select 30 cases of secondary acquired middle ear cholesteatoma pathological specimens as well as 30 cases of human normal auricle skin. The SP immunohistochemical staining technique was applied to detect the expression of Cyclin G and CCL27 in the pathological tissues mentioned above.Optical microscope was used to observe the expression of Cyclin G and CCL27.The data was analyzed by SPSS19.0 statistical software.Result:The positive rate of Cyclin G was 76.7%(23/30)in secondary acquired middle ear cholesteatoma tissues and 33.3%(10/30)in human normal auricle skin.Cyclin G expressed higher in secondary acquired middle ear cholesteatoma which showed a significant difference between the two groups(?~2=9.697,P<0.05).The positive rate of CCL27 was 6.7%(2/30)in secondary acquired middle ear cholesteatoma tissues while 33.3%(10/30)in human normal auricle skin.CCL27expressed lower in secondary acquired middle ear cholesteatoma which showed a significant difference between the two groups(?~2=5.104,P<0.05).Conclusion:By contrast with human normal skin tissue,Cyclin G expressed significantly higher in secondary acquired middle ear cholesteatoma epithelium.Based on this result we suspect that the high expression of Cyclin G may be associated with the hyperactive epithelial proliferation of cholesteatoma.Cyclin G may become one of the factors which involved in regulating the epithelial growth cycle of cholesteatoma as well as accelerate the growth of the cholesteatoma epithelium. It is suspected that Cyclin G may hopefully become a promising medical target in cholesteatoma therapy. The lower expression of CCL27 in secondary acquired middle ear cholesteatoma indicate that CCL27 may play an important role in the occurrence and development of this disease. With the deepening study of CCL27 in the future,CCL27 may become a brand new breakthrough point for the diagnosis and treatment of secondary acquired cholesteatoma.
