The most important technical means to prevent and control geological disasters is engineering measures,generally speaking,is to adopt building(structure)or geotechnical reconstruction projects,drainage projects and bio-vegetation projects to strengthen and stabilize the deformation of geological bodies,so as to control the occurrence of geological disasters.The development of soil and water conservation is an important aspect of prevention and control of geological disasters.This paper takes the monitoring of soil and water conservation in a small reservoir in Puer,Yunnan as an example.The dynamic monitoring of soil and water loss of key objects in the reservoir area was carried out by using various monitoring techniques such as ground monitoring,investigation monitoring and patrol.The monitoring focuses on six indexes,namely,disturbance control rate,soil erosion control degree,soil erosion control ratio,slag retention rate,forest and grass vegetation recovery rate and forest and grass coverage rate.Through the implementation of the monitoring of soil and water conservation in this project,the following conclusions are obtained:(1)The monitoring results show that the soil and water conservation work of this project has been done in a more comprehensive way,and the soil erosion caused by the construction of the project has been minimized without any impact on the surrounding ecological environment;(2)In the monitoring activities of this paper,the application The most widely used monitoring technology is "simple observation field monitoring" and "UAV technology monitoring".Through monitoring data,we know that this technology is more practical and scientific in the application of small reservoirs,and can be used in monitoring activities of similar scenes;(3)monitoring of important routine data of soil and water conservation,through monitoring The data are fed back to the reservoir construction unit in real time,which ensures the geological safety during the whole construction period,and has strong social and economic benefits.(4)In the initial stage of soil and water conservation monitoring,the dynamic monitoring of soil and water loss of key objects is carried out,and the basic situation of soil and water loss during the reservoir construction is explored.Soil erosion prevention measures were monitored to confirm the soil and water conservation effect of the engineering measures in the construction process;the soil erosion situation and six key indicators reached the standard when the project was completed,and monitoring emphasis was given at all stages,and the expected results were achieved.
