Swage autofrettage process is that a swage with a diameter slightly larger than that of the thick-walled cylinder is pressed inside the thick-walled cylinder with mechanical or hydraulic power,so that it can produce a plastic deformation and beneficial residual stress to increase their fatigue lives and load bearing capacity.The device of swage autofrettage mainly includes swage,frame and the power system,in this paper,the gun barrel was used as the object of swage autofrettage,and the tungsten combined swage,hydraulic power system,device of swage autofrettage that the barrel blank,swage and nut bearing force were designed,in addition,using the virtual instrument to establish the measurement and control system for the process of swage autofrettage,realizing the real-time monitoring of swage autofrettage process.In the manufacturing process of large diameter carbide swage,with the increase of the tungsten carbide volume,the tungsten carbide with the same material is more difficult to manufacture due to the volume effect,concerning this issue,the design of tungsten carbide swage with a center hole is proposed,the interference between the cylindrical mandrel and the inner hole of the tungsten carbide swage is performed by thermal expansion and contraction to form a combined swage.The stress and deformation of the combined swage are simulated and analyzed by ABAQUS finite element software under different interferences and compared with the deformation of mold steel swage and solid tungsten carbide swage under working conditions.Establishing a monitoring system for barrel blank's surface strain,liquid pressure and punch force by the virtual instrument,which realizes the functions of data acquisition,real-time display,recording and playbacking,generating report,abnormal warning and emergency stop,and achieved good experimental data.The scheme that servo motor was used as the power of the swage autofrettage device with ball screw was proposed,and the box frame of the swage autofrettage device is designed,in addition,the front plate,the side plate,the rear plate and the top plate of the frame were analyzed by ABAQUS.Proposed the swage autofrettage device based on servo electric cylinder structure.Exploring that using LabVIEW software,computer,DAQ to establish a measurement and control system to control the servo motor in oeder to simulate the measurement and control system of the swage autofrettage device.The measurement and control system can well realize the position and speed control and position measurement of the servo motor through many tests,which lay a foundation for real-time monitoring and automation of the swage autofrettage process.The design of combined swage can not only meet the requirements of autofrettage,but also can reduce the manufacturing difficulty of tungsten carbide swage with a large diameter,which has a certain engineering significance.The measurement and control system of the swage autofrettage can well realize the real-time monitoring of the processing parameters,which realize the automation of the autofrettaged process to some extent.
