The traditional Miao villages are a valuable crystallization of Chinese farming civilization, which not only bears the material and intangible heritage of Chinese traditional culture, national civilization, construction skills, but also an important part of today's world architectural culture. At present,in the face of many practical problems such as rapid urbanization and the deterioration of the ecological environment, the protection and development of Miao traditional villages are facing huge challenges. Therefore, based on the relationship between the village and the ecological environment, this paper aims to explore a set of effective models suitable for the sustainable development of the village through the research on the mimicry of the traditional villages of Miao people in southeast Guizhou. The mimicry of the village is a process in which the village adapts and fits the surrounding natural environment.Currently, the study of village mimicry is still in its infancy. The thesis integrates multi-disciplinary theories and methods such as architecture, planning and landscape. It also constructs a set of quantitative evaluation index system suitable for the mimicry of traditional Miao villages. The characteristics of the mimicry are revealed through these quantitative research methods. Finally,a specific mimic development strategy is proposed in combination with mimic characteristics and influencing factors.Research indicates:(1)The Miao traditional villages in southeast Guizhou have a certain mimicry.Different types of villages are in harmony with the surrounding natural environment and the overall style of the village is well protected.(2)A series of quantitative indicators such as lacunarity, capacity dimension, central trend, measures of dispersion and mimicry coefficient can scientifically characterize the mimic characteristics of traditional Miao villages. The three sample villages showed obvious mimicry in terms of texture, vertical layout, color and spatial pattern.(3)Through calculation, the capacity dimension of the traditional village texture of the Miao traditional villages in southeast Guizhou is generally around 1.4-1.5,indicating that the overall planar shape of the village tends to be complex;the lacunarity shows that the entire village is randomly distributed and harmoniously blends with the natural environment.(4)Comparing the natural terrain data with the sample village profile,it can be seen that the traditional Miao villages are well integrated with the natural terrain in the vertical direction, and there are few large-scale destructions of mountains. The vertical layout mimicry is remarkable.(5)According to the central trend and dispersion analysis of the color characteristics of traditional Miao villages and the surrounding natural environment,it found that the traditional villages of Miao nationality have low dispersion and obvious central trends, mostly in blue-violet(PB),yellow-green(GY),and achromatic(N)colors. The overall color is characterized by medium lightness, low chroma, and cool color trend. The village color harmoniously blends with the natural environment color, and the mimicry is obvious.(6)The traditional Miao villages have a certain mimicry with the surrounding natural environment in terms of spatial pattern. The mimic coefficients of villages and forests are higher than those of villages and farmlands, indicating that the villages and forests fit better.(7)The influencing factors of the mimetic characteristics of Miao traditional villages are divided into two levels:the first-level influencing factors are four in total,of which the humanities and historical factors have the largest weight, followed by social production and economic policies, and the natural environment factors have the least weight. There are 32 secondary influencing factors, among which value concept has the largest weight, followed by geomantic concept, national custom and patriarchal clan ethics, all of which belong to the category of humanistic psychology.Planning and construction ranked fifth, belonging to the policy and economic level.(8)Based on the mimic characteristics of miao traditional villages in southeast Guizhou and the weighted analysis results of influencing factors,a multi-dimensional coordination strategy is proposed from the perspective of texture, vertical, color and spatial pattern, and multi-level humanities are proposed from the psychological perspective of the government, villagers and investors.
