With the rapid development of China's national economy,China has paid more and more attention to the construction of transportation infrastructure.In the 13 th Five-Year Plan,it is required to study the application standard of BIM technology in railway engineering,which means that the national investment in railway engineering construction will continue to increase,and the implementation of BIM will also be expanded day by day.Under the impetus of digital informatization,it is worthwhile to study the intelligent method of how to design tunnel slope by a fast,efficient,visual and intelligent technology.The design of the railway tunnel slope plays an important role in the whole railway engineering design.At present,the railway BIM design field is still in the development stage,and there are still many problems.This paper carries out three-dimensional digital design based on BIM design software to solve the problems in the design of tunnel portal.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,an auxiliary design method system of railway tunnel portal based on BIM technology is proposed.Determined the BIM design's development platform and development tools for tunnels.This paper summarizes the development status of BIM technology at home and abroad,analyses the application and future development direction of BIM technology in railway engineering abroad,combines the successful cases of BIM technology in tunnel engineering,puts forward the importance of BIM technology application in tunnel design stage,and puts forward the system of auxiliary design method for tunnel portal based on BIM technology.By comparing and studying the three most popular BIM software platforms on the market,the Bentley platform,which is dedicated to serving the transportation infrastructure,is chosen as the development platform.The secondary development languages and open API of Microstation are studied,and the development tool used in this topic are determined.Secondly,the framework of tunnel parametric design system based on BIM technology is designed.By studying and analyzing the design habits and thinking modes of tunnel portal designers,a parametric design program for tunnel entrance isdeveloped.With this program tunnel lining,tunnel portal,drainage ditch,retaining wall and heading slope can be designed quickly,efficiently and intelligently.Thirdly,the program of rapid interactive design method for tunnel portal elevation is realized.According to the analysis and simulation of different tunnel geological survey data information,the method of terrain processing is studied,and the method of creating three-dimensional terrain model by filter is determined.The function of reading information and specifying model location is developed.The method is combined with parametric model and developed into a fast interactive real-time design program for the tunnel elevation slope.Fourthly,a tunnel portal aided design system is developed and verified by a practical case.Using TiGupu tunnel data to test the feasibility of the system,users can generate a three-dimensional tunnel model through the program,query the attribute information and location information of the model,select different slope rates,and then generate different excavation volume with the terrain,and determine the optimal location of the excavation through the size of excavation volume.
