| In response to the advent of the current "leisure age",people have attached more importance to the construction of the footbridge to satisfy people’s increasing demands for spiritual civilization and visual enjoyment. The footbridge gradually becomes the focus of urban architectural design because of its relatively small span and strong form plasticity. However, the design of the footbridge in China is mainly focused on long-span bridges, and most of the previous research was focused on the structure of the footbridge, failing to meet the need for the combination of artistic features and utility. Therefore, this paper conducted a deeply experimental study on the design form and space of the footbridge from the artistic perspective. This paper takes the design form and space of the footbridge as the research object.Firstly,it starts with the historical development of bridges, combs the changes of the form and function of bridges from natural bridges to modern ones.Secondly, through field research on famous domestic pedestrian bridges, and collecting relevant foreign famous footbridge materials, these bridges’ the differences in external form, spatial function, place environment and urban influence are analyzed in time quadrant, and personally perceive the space experience brought by some footbridges; Then, taking the results of the experimental footbridges design of Nanjing University of the Arts as examples, this paper summarizes four methods of footbridge design based on the artistic perspective: multidimensional linear reconstruction, plane domain reconstruction,lineto-surface composite reconstruction and morphological bionics and form reconstruction. Finally, based on the questionnaire survey,an experimental footbridge in an innovative form is presented to the audience through the application of relevant design methods. |
