Due to large-scale and continuous heavy rainfall, serious flood disasters occurred in Heilongjiang River Basin in 2013,and even became the most serious basin-wide flood disaster after 1984,leading to different degrees of flood disasters in the main stream of Heilongjiang River and its main tributaries at the same time.Among them,Tongjiang,Fuyuan and other major tributaries of the main stream of Heilongjiang experienced severe flood disasters in 2013 due to extensive and continuous heavy rainfall since 1987,even becoming the most serious basin-wide flood disaster after 1984,leading to different degrees of flood disasters in the main stream of Heilongjiang and its major tributaries at the same time.Among them,Tongjiang,Fuyuan and other major tributaries of Heilongjiang's main stream suffered the most serious flood disaster since 1987,which belongs to the once-in-a-century severe flood disaster. The wide range, high magnitude and long duration of floods are rare in history.Heilongjiang is the international boundary river, and the flood analysis and research on it are few,but these studies only analyze the rainstorm flood in Heilongjiang from the cause of rainstorm or the process of flood. This study takes the formation factors, development and evolution process of rainfall, flood disaster occurrence, evolution process and its characteristics as the starting point to study and analyze the specific factors and effects of flood disaster, and analyzes the rainstorm flood in Heilongjiang mainstream in 2013 on the basis of defining its causes, and makes a comparative analysis with the flood in history.Through the analysis and discussion of the four main rainfall processes in the Heilongjiang River Basin in summer, namely,June 26-July 4,July 15-25,July 26-August 4 and August 7-13,the rainfall characteristics and causes of heavy rain in the main stream of Heilongjiang River in summer 2013 are further analyzed. The flood in the main stream of Heilongjiang in 2013 mainly consisted of water coming from the upper reaches of the main stream of Heilongjiang, the tributaries of Heilongjiang,Jieya River,Breya River and Songhua River. In this paper, the flood composition of the main stream of Heilongjiang Province was analyzed by the flood volume of Kalen Shanshui Station in the upper stream and Luobei Station and Fuyuan Station in the lower stream for 30 d and 60 d,and compared with the floods in 1958 and 1984.
