With the development of era,the advancement of society and the improvement of people’s living,people’s appreciation for beauty has been improved gradually.In modern various im age such as movie,TV,advertisement and propaganda film,there seems to be a video form which can display the speed of time,presenting us with a sense of surge of wind and clouds and flowing.This kind of time art makes us fell time compressed,however,it also brings us a visual feast.It is time-lapse photgraphy.Recent years,the techniques for time-lapse ph otography not only have been applied to scientific research fields such as project engineerin g recording,astronomical observations as well as bioresearch but also widely have been us ed in professional film themes shooting such as cityscape,natural landscape,documentary,commercial film,propaganda film,advertising and so on.Compared with ordinary photo graphy,it has a special aesthetic value.It brings people with fresh visual experience,strong visual impact created by image rapid variation and provides people a new way of observi ng the world.The time originally can’t be freezed in the objective world,but it can be com pressed and adjusted by the way of time-lapse photgraphy,then played in normal speed.Theimage presents the dynamic and living real time.Making time-lapse photgraphy takes ti me and energy,but the final pictures compared with the pictures made by orther ordinary ca mara shooting techniques make people see the time lapse in a short time.If we say camara shooting is the world we see,the time-lapse photgraphy presents time dimensionality by a kind of technological means.The development of technology has led to the diversification of time-lapse photography creation and its application.In the author’s graduation works,the application of time-lapse photography is added,which shows the rapid development of western west coast and realizes the visual innovation.This paper mainly discusses and summarizes the aesthetic expression of time-lapse photography,the application of graduation photography and the significance and value of future development,so that people can have a diversified understanding of time-lapse photography and provide more perspectives for the study of art aesthetics of time-lapse photography.
