With the rapid development of modern society economy,people’s living standards have improved significantly.Space facilities,such as resort hotels and public buildings,are becoming more and more common in the society,and it has become a space place for entertainment,business meeting,cultural exchanges,fitness and beauty,catering and other services for contemporary Chinese people.Because of the government’s fully support for tourism diffident regions communications with each other more the increasingly ’But it has caused the phenomenon that different regions and different ethnic groups’ cultural convergence,and weaken the diversity characteristics of regional culture.In recent years,the groups who are keen on tourism and vacation have been grown.In addition,the current client concerns not only the hotel address and quality,environment,and supporting facilities,but also the hotel design with the functions and aesthetic requirements,Therefore,the key to attracting tourists is extracting regional cultural elements and creating exotic space room.The interior space hotel with regional and cultural features not only could enhance the customer’s recognition of the area,but also fit well with the concept of development of natural ecology and cultural experience in nowadays.In this article,we take Tengchong manxi Resort as an research object,through the investigation of the design project and the design examples of the interior resort hotel,and we could analyze the Tengchong’s regional cultural elements,and explore the feasibility that combining Tenge hong’s regional cultural elements and modern design.And from the points of natural environment elements,humanities elements,architectural elements,decoration elements,and so on.In the design,we could explore the method and principles what Tengchong regional elements use in the hotel interior space design.The article emphasizes the process including generating,developing and changing of the regional cultural elements in modern resort hotels,so it tries to provide some suggestions for the research of regional expression.
