Humidity is one of the important factors affecting indoor personnel thermal comfort,air quality and building health.The solid adsorption wheel dehumidification system has attracted attention because of its simple structure,low cost,stable performance and long service life,and has been widely used.At the same time,researchers have discovered in recent years that solid adsorption materials such as silica gel,which are commonly used as dehumidifying materials,can absorb indoor air pollutants such as suspended organic compounds while absorbing moisture,and it has the unique advantage of no by-products compared to other air purification technologies.Today,urban air pollution is serious,and indoor air purification has also become a major problem.If the dual physical adsorption effect of the wheel dehumidification system can be used to achieve indoor air dehumidification and purification,it will be able to reduce the building energy consumption while improving the indoor air.However,the silica gel dehumidifying wheel requires a large amount of high quality heat for its regeneration to ensure the dehumidification performance.The conventional rotary dehumidification system uses electric heating,wastes high-grade electric energy,and has high energy consumption.This dissertation studies the dehumidification performance and optimization method of dehumidifying wheel driven by low-grade thermal energy,trying to find a structure and operating mode of solid adsorption wheel driven by low-grade energy,so as to improve the energy efficiency of solid adsorption and desiccant air conditioning system.And seek to combine with its adsorption purification function to achieve the improvement of the building's environment and energy consumption.In this paper,we first reviewed the research on the improvement of wheel material at home and abroad to reduce the regeneration temperature.Secondly,we explored the influence of the structure and operation mode of different wheels on the dehumidification performance.In the experiment process,a conventional silica gel adsorption wheel is taken as an example to build an experimental test platform.Under a low regeneration temperatures,the operating parameters and the wheel structure were changed,testing the influence of various factors on the dehumidification performance of the wheel,finding out the best operating parameters and the structure of the wheel.Finally Propose some tests that can be continued for this experiment,and propose a hypothesis that combines the regenerative adsorption wheel with the heat pump unit.The use of the physical adsorption function of the regenerative adsorption wheel enables the adsorption of indoor air pollutants and wet air.At the same time,the heat pump evaporator can achieve the purification,dehumidification and sensible cooling of the indoor air.
