In the macro background of advancing urbanization construction and the traditional society upgrading to modern society,many cities in our country in the process of planning and construction of excessive pursuit of high-tech,but ignores the protection of their city's traditional culture.The traditional culture of many cities is badly damaged in the development and construction,which is a great loss for the city and the citizens living in the city.In the process of urban planning and construction,how to effectively protect and develop traditional culture of city,is a concern of the people,is an important task facing the city planners and builders too.This paper takes shaoxing city as an example to carry on the study of cultural inheritance in urban planning and construction.The first chapter introduces the research background,purpose significance,domestic and foreign research status,the research content,strategy,theoretical basis,difficulties,etc.The second chapter analyzes the status quo of the culture.The third chapter analyzes the problems faced by the cultural inheritance in shaoxing city planning and construction.The fourth chapter puts forward the specific inheritance strategy.The fifth chapter summarizes the main points of view,looks into the future and the next step can be studied.Through the study of this article,aiming at shaoxing in the modern city planning advice and provide perspectives for inheritance of traditional culture in,also,to some extent for the domestic other cities in the planning and construction of how to inheritance traditional culture provide certain reference.
