In the oxygen blowing type steelmaking process,the judgment of the blowing stage and the steelmaking end point has a significant impact on the final quality of the steel.In view of the current lack of real-time detection system which is working at the blowing stages and can judge and predict the steelmaking end points.This paper applies image processing to this problem.From the perspective of flame processing of steelmaking furnace flame,a new blowing stage judgment model which is based on the Canny edge detection and Harris focus detection can be proposed.Then through the study of the flame image of the steelmaking furnace in the later blowing stage,a scheme which can judge the steelmaking end point by the flame burning area ratio is proposed.This new method for judging the blowing stage and the end point can detect in real-time.First of all,this paper collects a large number of converter flame video images of different blowing periods by controlling the industrial camera.Then,these images are performed preprocessing such as cutting and filtering,etc.Secondly,in order to remove the influence of the smoke on subsequent image analysis.On the basis of studying the theory of the dark channel defogging,combined with the characteristics of the steel furnace flame video stream,this paper processes an improved algorithm which is used to de-smoke the flame image.Then,the Edge detection and corner extraction are performed on flame image,and a mathematical model for judging the blowing stage can be established.At the same time,the scheme which can judge the steelmaking end point by the flame burning area ratio is proposed.Finally,by cutting,compiling and transplanting the Linux operating system,through the implementation of the flame image de-smoke algorithm,this paper designs and develops a embedded system and a display interface on the upper computer,which can realize the desmoke algorithm and the algorithm of the blowing stage and the steelmaking end point judgment,and can display the flame image of the steelmaking furnace,smokeless flame image and final result of the final stage and end point judgment.
