| With the development of scientific instrumentation,near-infrared spectroscopy was found as a well-established non-invasive technique for the culture heritage.Specifically, this analytical method can be used for the study of organic and inorganic compounds by exploiting characteristic overtones and combination bands namely CH / NH / OH group. In this essay, the objective of the work is to identify methods for the pre-processing and processing of near-infrared spectra collected from artistic samples.Bibliographic research of the data pre-processing methods is necessary. Then, several pre-processing methods(such as standard normal variate transform,Savitzky-Golay smoothing, derivative first)were evaluated and data were submitted to Principal Component Analysis(PCA).Following the consequent, the NIR spectrum has given a satisfactory result(binders, varnish, and environmental natural can be recognized)after treating by using common signal pre-processing methods. The data were pre-processed and processed with MATLAB as an operational tool. |
