| Ultra-wide light gauge aluminum foil billets is mainly used for food,medicine,cigarette,electronics and electric industry.With the increasing of aluminum foil varieties in China,the market demand of aluminum foil is increasing rapidly.In terms of total volume,the total volume of aluminum foil in China ranks as the third largest in the world,but the product structure is unreasonable,especially the shortage of ultra-wide,ultra-thin and high-precision products with high technical content and difficult production is more prominent.The main reasons for this are insufficient of the wide and high quality aluminum foil.The technology and quality of aluminum foil are very different from those of foreign countries,which seriously hinders the healthy development of our country’s aluminum foil market.In this paper,the production technology of ultra-wide light gauge aluminum foil was studied by direct casting and rolling of electrolytic aluminum liquid.The existing technical problems such as "three high and one low" of electrolytic aluminum liquid,large width production,ultra-wide blank slab shape,surface quality,internal tissue,and stable production,thus satisfying the subsequent ultra-wide ultra-thin aluminum foil products,improving production efficiency.In this paper,the production process of the ultra-wide light gauge aluminum foil billets is studied through industrial test and simulation.he ultra-wide light gauge aluminum foil billets is made by direct casting of electrolytic aluminum.The following conclusions were drawn:(1)The smelting process of light gauge foil billet was studied by direct casting of electrolytic aluminum.the short process of electrolytic aluminum casting was developed with 70 % electrolytic aluminum and 30 % cold material,which was shortened and reduced energy consumption.(2)Based on the study of inclined and horizontal casting,the effects of different flow ways,such as cavity,primary,secondary,variable secondary techniques.The best flow technology of horizontal production is reverse resistance flow secondary distribution.The best flow technology of inclining was variable secondary distribution.By the research of new type flow technology,the maximum temperature fluctuation was ± 1 ℃ and the grain size can reach one grade.(3)The internal tissue of light gauge foil was studied through analysis different annealing process and titanium wire addition.the best way to product light gauge foil billets was reverse titanium wire addition.when deformation was above 36 %,that best homogenization annealing is 530℃/6h to obtain the uniform grain structure.(4)it is concluded that the best process for producing ultra wide light gauge foil billet with Super wide is: casting plate(6.5 mm),cold plate(2mm),high annealing(530 ℃ / 6h),cold plate(0.6 mm),medium annealing(380 ℃ / 3h).the recrystallized tissue is more uniform and small.the white stripe was effectively r eliminated,which can reach the surface quality of hot rolled products.(5)By means of orthogonal test,it is concluded that the casting process parameters of best flatness was 62-64 mm and rolling force was20~30MPa.the control target of 98 % of the aluminum foil billet was less than 6I though research technology of cold rolling flatness.The yield of ultra-wide light gauge foil billets has been improved effectively. |
