Explore The Owner's Moral Responsibility For Pets

With the acceleration of urbanization and the improvement of living standards,as well as the arrival of less children and an aging society,the awakening of the self-consciousness of empty nest youth and women has made countless pets enter the human society and come to people's families to live with people.In the 2018,the number of dogs and cats in Chinese towns reached 56.48 million,and the number of canine cats in cities and towns nationwide was 91.49 million.At the same time,the contradiction between people and pets is more obvious,pets hurt people,pet faeces,corpses,calls harm the environment,owners abuse,abandon pets,these have seriously affected the living conditions of residents.Under this background,this paper queries the relevant research at home and abroad,and seriously studies the relevant cases,and puts forward the theme of the owner's moral responsibility to the pet.First of all,through the analysis of people and pets in the reality of a variety of contradictions,analysis of the reasons is mainly due to the irresponsible owners caused.Secondly,this paper analyzes the theoretical basis of the owner's moral responsibility to the pet: that is,the responsibility ethics from the point of view of the owner in getting the pet,is the pet's owner,should be responsible for the pet to the end;from the perspective of utilitarianism,the master's behavior should be restrained,so as to satisfy the maximization of the overall interests;From the pet is the main body of life,pets can feel pain,human beings also have a certain feelings for pets,we should respect the life of pets;Once again,China's traditional ethics and morality have a tradition of respect for life,but also provide a theoretical basis for the protection of life.Then this text puts forward the owner's moral responsibility to the pet.That is: 1,the management of pets do not hurt the moral responsibility,2,the management of pets do not harm the environmental moral responsibility,3,to protect the life and health of pets moral responsibility.Finally,the articleputs forward some countermeasures and suggestions to guide the owner to have moral responsibility for the pet.This paper discusses from three aspects,that is,strengthening the master's moral responsibility education,perfecting the means of pet management,and perfecting the laws and regulations concerning pets.
