With the development of modern social science and technology, many difficult projects have been realized, such as reservoirs, oil fields, underground engineering, mines, etc. These are based on accurate geostress data,as well as safety stability analysis and earthquakes. The implementation of forecasting, geological environment assessment and other projects is also needed. With the deepening of mining depth in mines, the safety requirements for the layout and construction of roadways are more stringent. Therefore, the study of ground stress is more important and urgent. This paper takes the western section of Dahongshan Copper Mine as the research background, and studies the stress distribution characteristics of the mining area through multi-dimensional analysis of ground stress. The multi-dimensional analysis is mainly based on the research ideas, methods and means. The paper begins with the analysis of the causes and influencing factors of the earth stress, the distribution characteristics and laws of the ground stress, and the study of the geological features and sites of the mining area. The measured and initial geostress field inversion are analyzed, combined with the “large law” on the area, and compared with the “small features”in the mining area,so that the distribution characteristics of the stress field in the mining area are more comprehensively obtained. The main research work is as follows:1?Through the literature search, summarize the distribution law of ground stress, and obtain the macroscopic law of the distribution of ground stress by summarizing the laws of different regions, and analyze the results of the local stress field in the Dahongshan mining area as SSE-NNW;2?According to the statistical results of joints, faults and folds obtained from the on-site investigation, the direction of the geostress field of the west section of the Dahongshan Copper Mine can be inverted;3?The rock acoustic emission method is used to measure the ground stress of the mining area. The maximum principal stress is roughly horizontal, and the minimum principal stress is roughly vertical. The size is approximately equal to the self-weight stress of the overlying rock mass. The magnitude of the three principal stresses is The buried depth is linear, and the measured geostress direction is the northwest direction;4?The 3D geological model was established by FLC3 D numerical simulation software.Theinitial stress field of the mining area was inverted based on the measured data of the ground stress. The regression value of the stress field was compared with the measured geostress value. The relative error was not more than 20%,indicating the inversion. The result is reliable;5?Summarize the distribution of ground stress in the mining area.It can be seen that the distribution of ground stress is roughly consistent with the direction of stress distribution on the area, but there are differences. The stress direction near some faults has a certain deflection. The stress changes generated by local tectonics, some of the same roadway due to engineering disturbances, the stress value or size will also change, which affects the rock stability.
