Research And Design Of A New Type Of Plunger Extruder

With the development of science and technology,the plunger extruder has been replaced by the screw extruder.Until the application of PTFE and UHMWPE is more and more widely,the development of plunger extruder has been paid more attention.Because PTFE and UHMWPE have very high melting viscosity,it is difficult to process by screw extruder,so plunger extruder is still used in the production process.In recent years,the development of plunger extruder has revolved around the production process of PTFE and UHMWPE in order to obtain high performance PTFE and UHMWPE products.Paste extrusion is one of the widely used method in PTFE fiber preparation technology which can be industrialized at present.Plunger extruder,as an important equipment used in paste extrusion method,affects the research and production of PTFE fiber,thus seriously restricting the productivity development of domestic enterprises and the competitiveness in the international market.Based on the modular design method and the extrusion PTFE principle of the plunger extruder,the production process of PTFE filament was analyzed,the shortcomings in the production process were found,and the current demand for the plunger extruder was understood.The modular design scheme of the plunger extruder was studied,and a new type of plunger extrusion device was designed.The new plunger extruder is mainly divided into three working modules: automatic weighing feeding,pre-pressing and extrusion strip.Modular design method is used to design the three working modules separately and the n to reorganize them.Finally,the design goal of integration,modularization and more comprehensive function of the new plunger extruder is realized.It is hoped that a new type of plunger extruder will be designed to improve the quality of PTFE filament.In the end,a miniature plunger extruder was designed.It is a laboratory equipment developed for the laboratory research of PTFE products.It meets the needs of scientific research for plunger extrusion,promotes the development of plunger extruder,and improves the quality of PTFE fiber products and the competitiveness of PTFE fiber products in the international market.
