Taking SPF KM mice as the research object, millet components with different proportions were added in maintenance feed(MF)or high fat model feed(HFMF)to study the efficacy of millet in the prevention, treatment and adjuvant treatment of hyperlipidemia mice. The test contents and results are as follows:1.Adjuvant therapeutic effect of millet on hyperlipidemia mice: MF was used as positive control, and 40%,60% and 80% of millet were used to replace MF,to assist atorvastatin in performing gavage therapy to the hyperlipidemia model mice.At the same time, healthy mice were fed MF combined with normal saline gavage as a blank control. The trial lasted for 28 days. The test showed that the TC level of mice in the positive control group back to normal condition on the 28 th day of the test period.Compared with blank control group, experimental group 40% millet TC and TG,LDL-C levels in test 7 days had no significant difference(P>0.05);TC,HDL-C and LDL-C levels of 60% millet group showed no significant difference on the 14 th day(P>0.05).TC,TG and LDL-C levels in 80% millet group showed no significant difference on day 28(P>0.05).The results showed that when the proportion of millet in the MF of mice was 40%,the treatment time of atorvastatin for hyperlipidemia mice was shortened from 28 days to 7 days.It shows that millet has a good effect of assisting blood lipid lowering.2.Under the condition of a high-fat diet, millet on inhibition: the formation of hyperlipidemia in mice made ck MF,HFMF as positive control, respectively 20%,40%,60%,80%,100% proportion of millet substitute fatty model to maintain the feed composition of feed formulation, feed,KM mice 21 d,testing each group total TC and HDL-C content.Compared with the blank control group,TC and HDL-C levels in each test group and positive control group were significantly increased, with a significant difference(P<0.01).Compared with the positive control group,TC and HDL-C levels of millet components with different proportions were not significantly different(P>0.05).Both experimental group and positive control group showed hyperlipidemia in liver pathological sections. The results showed that millet could not inhibit the increase of serum lipid index in mice with high-fat diet.3.Therapeutic effects of millet on hyperlipidemia mice's blood liqid level: The MF was used as the positive control, and the proportion of 40%,60% and 80% millet was used to replace the MF to feed the hyperlipidemia model mice.At the same time, healthy mice were fed MF as a blank control for 28 days. The test showed that the TC level of each test group and positive control group was significantly higher than that of blank control group, and the difference was extremely significant(P<0.01).Compared with the positive control group, there was no significant difference in TC level between the millet test groups with different proportions(P<0.05).The experimental results showed that the serum lipid index of mice in each experimental group was maintained at the level of hyperlipidemia, and millet had no therapeutic effect on hyperlipidemia mice.
