Polychlorinated biphenyls(PCBs)and Polybrominated diphenyl ethers(PBDEs)have been fully or partially banned use by various countries and regions because of their characteristics and toxicity.Two types of alternative flame retardants.Novel brominated flame retardants(NBFRs)and Dechlorane plus(DPs),are currently being used,but they have attracted the attention of scholars because of their properties similar to POPs.In this study,Weifang City(the production source area of bromine-based flame retardants)and Yantai City(the control area)were used as research areas,and human serum was used as the research medium.This study analyzed the concentrations,distribution characteristics and differences of PCBs,PBDEs,NBFRs and DPs in the serum of population under the influence of different exposure sources,and analyzed the temporal trends of the concentration of the above-mentioned pollutants in the serum of different urban populations.The mean concentrations of ?12DL-PCB,?8PBDEs,?7NBFRs and ?2DPs in the pooled human serum of Weifang in 2016 were 2.57 ng/g lipid,224.77 ng/g lipid.1.20 ng/g lipid and 1.13 ng/g lipid,respectively.The mean concentrations of ?12DL-PCB,?8PBDEs,?7NBFRs and ?2DPs in the pooled human serum of Weifang in 2017 were 2.82 ng/g lipid,373.01 ng/g lipid,1.81 ng/g lipid and 0.76 ng/g lipid,respectively.The mean concentrations of ?12DL-PCB,?8PBDEs,?7NBFRs and ?2DPs in the pooled human serum of Yantai in 2016 were 3.41 ng/g lipid,62.93 ng/g lipid,0.47 ng/g lipid and 0.74 ng/g lipid,respectively.The mean concentrations of ?12DL-PCB.?8PBDEs,?7NBFRs and ?2DPs in the pooled human serum of Yantai in 2018 were 1.78 ng/g lipid,305.02 ng/g lipid,0.22 ng/g lipid and 0.46 ng/g lipid,respectively.Except for the concentration of DL-PCBs in the human serum of Yantai in 2016,the concentrations of PBDEs,PBBz,PBT,HBB and DPs in the human serum samples of Weifang in 2016 was higher than that in Yantai in 2016.The city of Weifang as a production source area of bromine-based flame retardants,the production activities in this area may be the main cause of the differences in the concentration of brominated flame retardants in the human serum of Weifang and Yantai.The main pollutants in the serum samples of Weifang and Yantai are PBDEs,which are 1-3 orders of magnitude higher than the concentration levels of DL-PCBs,NBFRs and DPs that have been banned or used less.It may be related to its long history of use and some of its congeners are still the main brominated flame retardants.The concentration of.8PBDEs in the pooled human serum samples in the year of 2015-2017 in Weifang and in the year of 2016-2018 in Yantai were at the same level,and they all showed a upward trend,indicating that the risk of exposure to PBDEs in the human of Weifang and Yantai may be increasing,especially exposure the risk of the main congener of PBDEs(BDE-209)is increasing.The concentration of DL-PCBs in the pooled human serum in the year of 2011-2017 in Weifang showed a trend of decreasing first and then increasing.The concentration of DL-PCBs in the pooled human serum samples in the year of 2016-2018 in Yantai showed a downward trend.However,the concentrations in the pooled serum in Weifang and Yantai did not decrease significantly during the study period.And the concentrations of some PCBs congeners are rising during the study period.Different NBFRs in the human serum of Weifang and Yantai showed different trends during the study period,but the detection rate and concentration of NBFRs in human serum were at a high level,indicating that they were common in human body in Weifang and Yantai.The concentration of DPs in the pooled human serum samples in the year of 20]3-2017 in Weifang and in the year of 2016-2018 in Yantai showed a different degree downward trend,and the concentrations of DPs in the human serum samples of the two populations were at a lower level,which may indicate that the consumption of DPs has declined in the two area.Moreover,there was no significant difference in the value of fanti in the human serum in the year of Weifang and Yantai,indicating that the population of Weifang and Yantai may be exposed to the same source of DPs in the year of 2016.
