| As a kind of hydrophobic high-performance membrane material,Polyphenylene sulfide(PPS)possessed the strong acid and alkali resistance,corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance,which resulted in PPS having an excellent development prospect in the field of high temperature and corrosive industrial sewage treatment.In this paper,the thermally induced phase separation method was used to prepare PPS membrane.The research results are as follows:PPS resin was treated to make it thermal crosslinking under the condition of 180 ℃ for different heating time,and PPS membrane was prepared through TIPS method.We studied the thermal crosslinking effect on the properties of PPS membrane structure,and the thermal stability,porosity,water contact angle,water flux and bovine serum albumin intercepting rate of PPS membrane were characterized.The characterized results showed that after thermal crosslinking the PPS molecular chains became tightly entangled and the membrane pore size decreased,together with bovine serum albumin intercepting rate significantly increasing to 88.5%.In addition,thermal stability increased,glass transition temperature increased from 92.2 to 98.9 ℃,melting temperature increased from 273.9 to 283.5 ℃.The tensile strength increased from 2.02 to 3.01 MPa,and the elongation at break increased from 2.341%to 6.847%.PPS/PVDF membranes were prepared by mechanical blending method.The morphology,porosity,mechanical properties and bovine serum protein interception rate of membrane were well characterized.The results showed that PPS/PVDF composite membranes presented the spherulitic structure and poor connectivity within the membranes.The hydrophobicity of the membranes increased,namely the contact angle of the top surface reached 112.7°,and the contact angle of bottom surface increased to 139.2°.The interception rate of bovine serum protein was significantly increased to 86.5%.PPS as the continuous phase and PSF as the dispersed phase,PPS/PSF composite membranes were prepared and their properties were tested.The results showed that as the increase of PSF content,the top surfaces of the membranes formed a smooth and dense cortex gradually,and water flux declined significantly.The elongation at break increased to the maximum of 6.52%.PPS/PCNF hybrid membrane was also prepared.Though the characterization of the aperture size and distribution,roughness,the morphology,thermal stability,bovine serum albumin filtrate rate,rate of methylene blue intercept,bacteria intercept rate,the effects of PCNF content on the properties of PPS membrane was explored.The results showed that as heterogeneous nucleating agent the porous carbon nanofibers could effectively increase the crystallization rate.The pore size of the membrane decreased from 13.73 to 0.06 μm,and the pore size distribution became narrower.The thermal stability and the separation performance of membrane was well improved,and the separation efficiency of BSA came up to 92.7%.The interception rate of MLB dye came up to 99.9%,and the interception rate of bacteria in DMSO was up to 93.7%. |
