Ni-Mo ore is one of the main resources of Ni-Mo in black rock system.The extraction of nickel and molybdenum would be affected by iron and sulfur elements.Therefore,the theoretical research is great value about oxidation transformation and action behavior of pyrite in Ni-Mo ore.It also provides theoretical guidance for low grade Ni-Mo ore and similar minerals.The process research of black rock series Ni-Mo ore is carried out by consulting relevant literature and project group.The method is proposed about selecting dissolution of iron and molybdenum by oxygen pressure leaching.The experimental study on optimum technological conditions:initial sulfuric acid concentration 10g·L-1,temperature 150?,oxygen partial pressure 1.2MPa,stirring speed 500r·min-1,mineral particle size-106+75?m,time 5h.The experiments are carried out on pyrite,pyrite and molybdenum sulfide under those conditions:?1?The pyrite is taken as the research ob ject.The effects of different initial concentration of sulfuric acid,oxygen pressure,temperature,stirring speed,particle size on oxidation translation behavior of pyrite under pressure filed was investigated by high pressure leaching.Further investigation of iron sulfur phase change under the best technological conditions in Ni-Mo ore.The results show that iron exists in the form of ions in the solution,remains in the form of hematite and Fe-V in slag.Sulfur exists in the form of sulfate in the solution and elemental sulfur formed in slag during the whole reaction.The decomposition of pyrite can be promoted by ferrous and sulfuric acid.The process of pyrite oxidation is forming sulfuric acid.The distribution of iron oxide is 97.89%and the distribution rate of non-sulfide is 91.16%in the leaching residue of nickel molybdenum ore.?2?The pyrite and molybdenum sulfide are taken as the research object.The effects of different initial concentration of sulfuric acid,oxygen pressure,temperature,stirring speed on oxidation translation behavior of pyrite and molybdenum sulfide under pressure filed was investigated by high pressure leaching.The oxidation conversion behavior of molybdenum sulfide is further investigated under the best technological conditions.The results show that the oxygen pressure water leaching process of pyrite and molybdenum sulfide is forming sulfuric acid.Pyrite and molybdenum sulfide promote mutual decomposition.Sulfur exists in the form of sulfate in the solution and elemental sulfur formed in slag during the whole reaction.80%of molybdenum elements present in the form of ions in solution at the early stage of the reaction,the late period of molybdenum ion gradually precipitated from the solution with two molybdenum trioxide,molybdenum oxide in slag about 15%.Iron exists in the form of ions in the solution.Ferric is the main factor about affecting the dissolution of molybdenum.The study of the oxidation transformatio n and the action of pyrite in Ni-Mo deposits provide theoretical guidance and technical support for the extraction of nickel and molybdenum in black roc k nickel-molybdenum deposits.
