Special education receives more and more attention and tends to be standardized with the continuous development and progress of Chinese society,about special children education has also become a hot research issue.Special education is for special children such as intellectual disabilities,physical disorders,and autism.Most of them have different degrees of physical or mental disorders.They cannot understand and perceive the world around them as normal children.It has caused many inconveniences and troubles in their lives.It is the first and foremost problem to solve the obstacles through targeted rehabilitation training and acquire life skills as soon as possible.However,the traditional teaching and rehabilitation training is boring,lacks immersion and presence,and it is difficult to arouse students' interest.The training effect is greatly reduced.The continuous development and innovation of virtual reality technology has injected new vitality into the development of special education.The virtual environment created by virtual reality can fully mobilize the special children's senses of sight,hearing and touch,which not only makes up for the insufficiency of traditional teaching methods.It also provides a safe training environment for special children's rehabilitation training.Through the previous scholastic observation and interviews with teachers and parents,this study identified the issues of traffic safety that the special child needs to solve.(1)Design specific game and experience scenes for special children,observe the children's reaction to the virtual device experience,and in the process of experience,ask questions about children's experiences through questionnaire surveys,and gain children's acceptance of virtual environments.(2)For the lack of realism and telepresence in traditional classroom traffic safety training,this paper builds a virtual road traffic environment through 3dMax modeling technology,enhances the users' immersion and presence of users and greatly improves the effectiveness of simulation training.According to the difference of intelligence development level of children and the complicated road environment under realistic conditions.In accordance with no zebra crossing,no traffic light,no zebra crossing,no zebra crossing,and zebra crossing with traffic lights,three training modes are designed to train the users from easy to difficult.(3)Simulating the scene with the virtual reality engine in order to more realistically restore the road traffic situation,the virtual reality engine is used to simulate the scene,and the intersection lights are edited to make the cars and pedestrians follow the established traffic rules.Through the transformation of the behavior tree and the finite-state machine,the game object continuously detects the surrounding environment,and the analysis concludes that the next action is a straight line,a turn,or a stop.Just like a real driver driving a vehicle,it more intuitively restores the real road traffic environment.(4)Introduce the HTC Vive headset virtual reality device and add data collection function according to the device features,so that the user can detect whether the user is out of the zebra crossing and whether it is in the red light during the training test.The system responds to the user's training and test effects by getting a direct response to the time spent crossing the road and crossing the road after the training completed.Finally,the experimental results of virtual reality training are analyzed according to the two-group pretest-posttest design.Paired-sample T test was used to judge whether there was significant difference between the experimental group and the control group before and after the intervention.The results showed that there was a significant difference between the pre-and post-test groups in the virtual reality intervention group but there was no significant difference in the control group,it follows that virtual reality intervention has a positive impact on users.Randomly select two boys and two girls to record the whole process of intervention training and do a case analysis in order to more intuitively understand the effect of the experimental group intervention,according to the experimental results,it is concluded that the virtual reality traffic safety intervention platform has a significant role in improving the traffic safety skills of children with mental retardation...
