| Taking electrochemical wastewater treatment technology as the background and using natural ore-attapulgite and iron powder as the main raw materials,this paper has successfully fabricated a composite material electrode that can be applied in the electrochemical wastewater treatment.Compared with traditional electrodes,this fabricated electrode possesses the advantages of low price,high efficiency in wastewater treatment,etc.The composite material electrode is applied in the electrochemical wastewater treatment,and the wastewater with phthalic acid ester(PAEs)is successfully treated.Providing a more rapid and high-efficiency new electrode for treating wastewater with organic pollutant,this paper also offers a brand new approach to the wastewater treatment.1.Modification and property measure and analysis of attapulgiteUsing natural ore-attapulgite as the raw material,this section researches and discusses the modification method of hydrochloric acid at different concentrations and hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride,so as to modify the natural attapulgite.Characterization is made through infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscope,X-ray diffractometer,specific surface area analysis as well as pore size analyzer,and the modification method is investigated based on the absorption of methylene blue on the modified attapulgite.Finally,the experimental results show that after being modified by hydrochloric acid at 0.5-0.8 mol·L-1 and hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium chloride,the adsorptive property of the modified attapulgite is greatly improved with its space structure unchanged.2.Preparation and property research on the modified attapulgite/iron composite material electrodeUsing modified attapulgite,iron powder and graphite as the raw materials,and epoxy resin as the cross-linking agent,this paper has prepared the attapulgite/iron composite material electrode.The experiment investigates the influence of the dosage of attapulgite and cross-linking agent on the attapulgite/iron composite material electrode respectively,and different pretreatment methods are adopted to treat the prepared composite material electrode,so that it will not cause any secondary pollution to environment during wastewater treatment.Finally,by measuring the peak current and enrichment time of attapulgite/iron composite material electrode,the result is produced that the electrode has more significant peak current response and stability than common graphite or iron electrode.3.Research on the modified attapulgite/iron composite material electrode in esters wastewater treatmentIn this section,used as electrolytic anode,the prepared attapulgite/iron composite material electrode is applied in the electrochemical wastewater treatment technology,to treat the organic pollutant wastewater with DBP.The advantages and disadvantages of traditional electrochemical wastewater treatment technology and pulse electrochemical wastewater treatment technology are investigated through experiment respectively,and the influences of electrode category,electric current density,duty ratio,distance among electrodes and various pH values on wastewater treatment effect are researched.The results demonstrate that compared with traditional electrochemical wastewater treatment technology,the pulse electrochemical wastewater treatment technology has better treatment effect,and the treatment effect of attapulgite/iron composite material electrode is better than that of traditional iron and aluminium electrode.Meanwhile,when the attapulgite/iron composite material electrode is used as electrolytic anode,the electric current density is 15-20 mA·cm~2,the duty ratio is 0.6 and the distance among electrodes is 10mm,the DBP removal rate in wastewater is approximately 85%,while the COD removal rate is about 95%after 120 min of pulse electrochemical method treating wastewater with DBP.What’s more,it is found that when the wastewater is more acidic or alkaline or the initial concentration of pollutant of wastewater is too higher,the wastewater treatment effect will be influenced,but if more treatment time is given,the final treatment result will be nearly the same. |
