As a composite matiertial with porous structure,aluminum foam has a lot of good properties,for example:energy absorption,heigh specific strength and shock absorption etc.when as the sandwish layer,it can improve the composite structure matertial's properties immensely.So it has broud application fields.There are alternative preparation methods,of them,powder compatiom metallurgical method(PCM method)has the unique advantage on preparing for aluminum form with closed-cell structure and complex near-net shape componets.This paoer is based on PCM method:a?to study the simple precursor's filling ability?b?to study more precursors' filling ability?c?to make big size aluminum foam special-shaped composite structure.The test results indicate:(1)Heating rate and foaming temperature influent precursor's filling abilituy greatly in the process of mading foamed aluminium by PCM method.Under the same foaming temperature,the heating rate more faster,the filling ability more stronger.Under the same heating rate,the temperature more heighter,the filling ability more stronger.When the forming height maximum,it can keep less shorter.When the heating rate is 3?/s,the foaming temperature is 730?,the filling ability is the strongest.(2)Furnace temperature,placement mode and filling percentage are the three main factors that influent the filling ability of the precursor group.When the furnace temperature is 820?,the placement mode is mixture is 45%,the filling height ratio can reach 120%,the effect is best.(3)To preheat the precursor can reduce the foaming time very much caused by uneven heating.Under the same furnace temperature,the preheating temperature more heigher,the foaming time less shorter,the preheatings'foaming height more bigger,filling ability more stronger.Conersely,the filling ability is weak.When the preheating temperature is 540 ?,the filling ability is the strongest.(4)In the preparation of big size aluminum foam special-shaped composite structure,overcome the prefabrication weight force and make the body evenly heat are the two primary problems.The influence of the temperature of furnace temperature is very weak,interlaced is better than kept upright placed precast body to fill the mould.
