In this paper, three unsubstituted iron-series metal phthalocyanines?MPc?,vizcobalt?II?phthalocyanine?CoPc?,iron?III?phthalocyanine?FePc?and nickel?II?phthalocyanine, were synthesized by template-reaction method at the present of 1,8-diazabicyclo[5,4,0]undec-7-ene.Then iron-series metalphthalocyanine/reduced graphene oxide?MPc/RGO?and iron-series metalphthalocyanine/reducedcarbon paper oxide?MPc/RCPO?were prepared via?-?stacking interactionbetween MPc and carbon material. The iron-series metal oxide nanosheens?MxOy NS?andiron-series metal oxide/reducedcarbon paper oxide?MxOy/RCPO?precursor were obtained by a simple pyrolysis after a calcination treatment?400oC?in air. Then the iron-series metal phosphide nanosheens?MxP NS?and the iron-series metal phosphide?MxP/RCPO?through low temperature phosphidation of isMxOy NS and MxOy/RCPO.The products were characterized by TGA,XRD,BET,Raman,XPS,SEM and TEM,respectively.Electrocatalytic water splitting cells were build with iron-series metal oxide?phosphide?catalysts, and their electrocatalytic water splitting activity were investigated. Both of the MxOy NS and MxP NS exhibited a representative laminated nanosheets structure. The MxOy NS and MxP NS as a non-noble-metal catalyst exhibits excellent electrocatalytic water splitting performance under alkaline conditions.Taking into account the practical application,The MxP/RCPO electrodewe prepared exhibited excellent electrocatalytic water splitting performance under alkaline conditions. The cobalt oxide nanosheets?Co3O4 NS?had a small onset overpotential of 1.53 V,a low Tafel slope of 64.4 mV dec-1 for OER.The cobalt phosphide nanosheets?CoP NS?has a small onset overpotential of-64 mV,a low Tafel slope of 123.9 mV dec-1for HER.
