Recent years with the growth in demand for oil and gas resources,more and more deep wells are increased,so mining wide temperate wells became more and more important.The quality of cementing needs to be improved.For different well conditions,suitable retarder was required in the construction site.There are particularly more retarder on the market,but there performance always simple.Existing wide temperate retarder on market always across a narrow range of temperate,and few of them could used from low to high temperature.This is inconvenient for the drilling and completion of the construction designIn view of the above problems,I synthesized retarder AMPS-IA-DMDAAC.With slurry thickening time as evaluation index,I optimum synthesis conditions by single factor experiment and orthogonal test method.Finally confirmed the optimal synthesis conditions is:pH=5,n(AMPS):n(IA):n(DMDAAC)=70:30:30,monomer content was 30%,reaction time was 5h,the initiator content of KPS/SHS was 1%,reaction temperature was 70 ?.The product of the structure and thermal stability has been verified by IR and TGA-DSC.Through the performance evaluation of wide temperate retarder,we can see this retarder could used from 60? to 140? acrossing the temperature range of 80?.Cement slurry thickening time is linear adjustabled with retarder dosage.So this retarder is applicable to wide temperate cementing operation.From the performance comparison with different kinds of commonly used wide temperate retarder,this retarder has the most widest temperature range.From the NMR and XRD,we know that retarder AMPS-IA-DMDAAC could slow down the cement hydration process.At last exploring the retarding mechanism of wide temperate retarder.Researching on this topic solved the drawbacks of choosing different kinds of retarder according to different well conditions.Synthesis of a retader could applicated at 60-140 ?wide temperate cementing.And it has a small temperature sensitivity,and the thickening time could adjusted,and has stable performance at whatever high and low temperatures.This study has a very important practical significance.
