Coal is the main energy source in China and plays an important role in modern industry. With continuous exploitation,it is inevitable that a large amount of low-rank coal will be used. However,as a fuel,low-rank coal releases a large number of toxic and harmful gases such as carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide and soot, which seriously pollute the environment. With the popularization of coal and other resources, there are a lot of surplus straw in the countryside. The direct discarding and burning of straw cause environmental pressure and waste of resources. In order to improve the current situation of the coal-burning and straw disposal causing huge pressure and harm to the ecological environment, this research starts with domestic and foreign research processes and aims at exploring a cost-effective,green and sustainable biological method for pretreatment of coal and straw. The main finding of this research includes the following items.(1)Two strain of fungi were isolated and identified by morphological observation and 18 sr DNA gene sequence analysis. The two strain were identified as P.ostreatus, named as TJPU06 and C.subvermispora, named as TJPU07.(2)To study the effect of effective microorganisms(EM)and strains TIPU06 and TJPU07 on the biotreatment of lignite with the mixed microbial community in the absence of any nutrients.By calculating the degradation rate and desulfurization rate,it was found that the lack of nutrients affected the degradation effect but did not affect the desulfurization effect. In the mixed microbial system containing EM,the desulfurization rate of lignite with total sulfur content of 1.50% and 3.24% by strain TJPU06 reached 91.21% and 60.19%,respectively.And the desulfurization rate of lignite with total sulfur content of 1.50% and 3.24% by strain TJPU07 reached97.20% and 63.65%,respectively.This indicated that strain TJPU07 is a more promising and efficient desulfurization fungus of coal.(3)In the absence of any nutrients, the effects of adding EM on corn straws treated by strains TJPU06 and TJPU07 were studied. The results showed that under non-sterile conditions, the presence of EM increased the total degradation rate of straw by TJPU06,reaching 19.54±0.34%,while increasing the removal rates of lignin, hemicellulose and cellulose, reaching 46.31±0.70%,18.54±0.31%,14.38±0.34%,respectively.This indicated that strain TJPU06 was not affected by local microorganisms and was a promising single-cell protein production agent that can beused for animal feed;the presence of EM increased the removal rate of lignin in straw by TJPU07,reaching 4.39±0.32%,and retained whole cellulose, indicating that the strain TJPU07 can be used for subsequent straw biofuel production.
