This paper deals with the reconstruction of size distributions of water drops in atmospheric clouds based on the scattering phase function measurements.To solve this ill-posed problem,we have applied the Tikhonov variational regularization method,which brings about finding a minimum of the residual functional with a stabilizer.In this study,we present the results of computational experiments for various degrees of noise.The phase function is considered over the whole range of angles(from 0 to 180 degrees)and in ranges of 0-30 and 150-180 degrees.The Tikhonov regularization method gives good results with a suitable choice of the regularization parameter.To choose the regularization parameter,we use the L-curve method. |
