With the rapid development of information technology,the capacity and spee d of the second generation network can not meet the information need s.Yet All-Optical Network have the characteristics of large amount of inf ormation transmission,high transmission efficiency,security and reliability,It can seem as the direction of development of the future website.As an in dispensable part of All-Optical Networks,All-Optical switches are widely used in optical communications,optical computing and optical network sw itching.Photonic Crystal All-Optical Switches have unique advantages,for example,small size,easy to integrate and relatively low cost,it provides a new idea for the research of All-Optical Switches.Therefore,the researc h based on the photonic crystal All-Optical Switch has important physical signifi cance and broad application prospects.In this paper,an All-Optical Switch with the Kerr effect of organic material an d Fano type Two-Channel Photonic crystal had been designed.Organic materia ls play an irreplaceable role in the manufacture of all kinds of high performanc e optoelectronic devices and nonlinear optics devices.when the material is irrad iated by strong electric field or strong light,the nonlinear effect will occur,an d the charge in the nonlinear material will shift and cause the change of refractiv e index.The optical switch based on the Quer effect of organic materials has th e characteristics of simple structure and easy integration.Fano resonance refer s to the interference with discrete and continuous state beams under certain phas e matching conditions Taking coupled resonance as an example,the discrete b eam can be obtained through the cavity,the continuous beam is usually provide d by a common wide-spectrum laser source,and the shape of the Fano resonan ce curve is controlled by the intensity of the continuous beam.Compared wit h other All-Optical Switches,FanoTypeOptical Switches has the characteristic s of low pumping energy,fast response time and high extinction ratio.This paper by analyzing the band gap characteristics of two-dimensional GaAs dielectric column photonic crystals,Kerr effect of MEH-PPV,resona nt mode of defect microcavity and coupling mode between optical wavegu ide and microcavity,realized a two-channel photonic crystal switch with working wavelength of 1310 nm and 1550 nm.According to Fano resona nce,the discrete state and continuous state of 1310 nm and 1550 nm are designed and the single channel all-optical switch with high efficiency is realized.Next,a two-channel photonic crystal switch structure for the op erating wavelengths of 1310 nm and 1550 nm is made.At the same time,The factors that affect the switch performance are analyzed,the optimal p ump energy,response time and extinction ratio of the switch are determin ed.These works provide a theoretical basis for exploring low-cost,high-p erformance photonic crystal all-optical switches.
