Hydropower is and will be the main force in the renewable energy sector for a certain period of time from now on.Currently,the total installed capacity accounts for about 46% of overall hydropower reserve.By the end of 2016,the regular hydropower installed capacity has exceeded 300 GW with an annual output of 1.18 billion KW.h,accounting for 76% of overall electricity output by renewable energy.By the end of 2017,non-fossil fuel consumption has taken up a ratio of 13.8% of total.To meet the call for energy structural transformation and upgrading,in accordance with Thirteenth Five-year Plan,non-fossil fuel consumption will need to take up 15% of primary energy consumption,and priority should be given to clean energy in the power sources structural optimization process.Hydropower is a traditional form of clean energy and is inexhaustible in supply and always available for use.When developed under good ecological protection measures,sustained development of hydropower is an inevitable choice for green power development.This paper takes Niulangou hydropower station as the object for research.It explores into hydraulic energy,discharge ability calculations,and simulation review on the medium-small-sized hydropower stations with big flow,together with research on the run-of-flow distribution,output guarantee,installed capacity,discharge capability,dissipation ability and hub-center layout of the station,applies hydraulic simulation calculation software to make reviews on the discharge ability,and then builds a model.By taking the original data as parameters,the simulated model can produce accurate mechanical criteria such as the depth of flow,flow velocity and pressure.Then by means of comparing the design plan with revive results and making verifications,optimization on the design plan is made.In this way,reliability of flood-prevention safety design is enhanced and the process also proves to be time-saving compared to regular modeling experiments.By examining the benefits,flood control calculations,as well as the verification on formulation technology,we are given a new angle of view into hydropower planning and designing,and a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the issue.In the future,we need to try and study on such innovations,make brave attempts during the process of project design and construction,explore actively into a wide application of computer-based simulation technology in intelligent design,construction and operation of hydropower project,...
