Disturbance Detection In Fiber Optic Perimeter Security System

The perimeter security system is a system which lies a purpose in preserving the public security.Today,the distributed fiber perimeter security system(FPSS)is the most advanced perimeter security system.It is based on optical fiber sensor technology for real-time data processing.it is the more advantageous than the other security systems.The key technology of optical fiber perimeter security system is phase detection and polarization detection.Phase detection is the introduction of interference in the sensing fiber to obtain the disturbance information.In practical application,because these technologies need to install two sets of optical fiber sensor in the security area to produce interference,and they have a higher requirement on the whole circuit modulation and demodulation techniques,so that the cost of the whole system is relatively high.In the security system,polarization detection is based on the optical fiber polarization information,which is used to extract the optical fiber polarization information.However,due to the high cost of optical polarization detection device,it also leads to higher cost.To reduce the cost of the construction and supply a better fun ction of real-time monitorbing and data analyzis processing,this paper analyzes and studies the structure of the optical fiber coupler,which is used to detect the polarization variation of optical fiber.The method detects the change of the polarization state of the optical fiber by detecting the output light intensity of the system.Therefore,we designs a new type of disturbance detection circuit.At the same time,this paper also designed a simulation experiment using the method of lines,the traditional method and the method of real-time monitoring of optical fiber polarization detection at the same time,the use of UI Labview 2015 system simulation method for data analysis of two sets of data to verify the feasibility of the method.Meanwhile considering in the real circumstance,the light source and the detecting port were set at the different ends of the fiber route,we led out several connection schemes.
