Diabetes is now a serious threat to people's health, has been a multiple disease. The medical profession has not been able to cure diabetes. In order to control the blood glucose concentration of diabetic patients and thus generate artificial islets, this paper mainly studies the blood glucose control based on the mathematical model of type 1 diabetes. The following is the main content of this paper:First, analyze the existing mathematical models for diabetes. The glucose-insulin is modeled as a switched system with input constraints and external dis-turbance.The H_?state feedback controller is designed such that the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable, and meet the H_?performance and input constraint. The proposed method is applied to the instance, which verifies the validity of the theoretical results.Second,we investigate to problem designing a dynamic output feedback H_?controller based on the weighting model of type 1 diabetes. The main goal of treating type 1 diabetes with glucose control is to maintain blood glucose at a normal level in the presence of dietary disturbances. There by,a H_?dynamic output feedback is obtained, which makes the resulting closed-loop system to be asymptotically stable and satisfy the specified H_?performance and input constraints. The effectiveness of the proposed approch is tested by a simulation example.
