As one of the four high-performance fibers,aramid fiber has a series of advantages such as excellent heat resistance,high strength,flame retardancy and corrosion resistance,and is widely used as a high-performance structural and functional material.However,the chemical inertness of the fiber itself limits the application of the material,in order to give full play to the excellent properties of the aramid fiber,expand its application field,and use a green plasma modification method.The surface of the fiber is modified to improve the adhesion and wettability without affecting the overall performance of the aramid.Combining the excellent properties of aramid and resin to develop a light and flexible aramid coated fabric.This experiment mainly uses plain-grain three-grid,twill three-legged,satin-like structure,and aramid fabric with double-layer structure as the main material.Aramid fiber reinforced resin-based lightweight coating fabric is prepared by using plasma modification and plasma coating with different contents of polyurethane,silicone resin and epoxy resin as the resin matrix.Test the waterproof and moisture permeability,heat insulation and sound insulation of coated fabrics.By analyzing the effect of different resin dosages on performance,we strive to achieve the best performance of lightweight and flexible coated fabrics with the least amount of resin.First,the surface morphology and chemical elements of the fabric have been significantly changed by plasma modification.The AFM results show that the surface roughness of the modified fiber is improved.XPS shows that the hydrophilic elements N and O increase,the contact angle becomes smaller,and the surface energy increases,indicating that the plasma modification can enhance the adhesion of the fabric to the resin and improve the fabric.Invasiveness.After plasma modification and placed in the test within 28 days,it was found that the plasma modification was time-sensitive and the treatment effect was best in one week.Secondly,comparing the bonding of the aramid fabric to the resin before and after the modification,the SEM observation shows that the plasma-modified fiber and the resin are bonded in a more uniform and dense manner;The mechanical properties test results show that the treated fabric has better breaking strength than the untreated coated fabric.Compared with the coated fabrics with different resin coatings of the same thickness,the FTIR results show that the molecular bonds of the aramid fabrics before and after plasma modification are consistent,indicating that the plasma modification does not damage the internal structure of the fabric.However,different resin coatings are bonded to the surface of the aramid fabric in the form of chemical bonds,making the bonding stronger;The test results of TG show that the aramid fabric itself has good thermal stability,and the thermal stability of the fabric after being coated with polyurethane and epoxy resin is lowered.The silicone-coated aramid-coated fabric combines the excellent thermal properties of silicone and aramid with the best thermal stability.Finally,in terms of waterproof and moisture permeable,the moisture permeability of the sample was measured by the moisture permeable cup method by the contact angle and the hydrostatic resistance test.The results showed that the samples with better waterproof and moisture permeable properties were a three-layered double-layer fabric/polyurethane and a twill three-grid/polyurethane coated fabric.In terms of heat insulation,the TPP of the test sample is worthy of conclusion:the second gradient of the double layer fabric/silicone resin,the plain weave/silicone resin coated fabric has better heat insulation performance.In terms of sound insulation,the sound insulation coefficient and sound transmission loss of the material were tested by sound insulation measuring instrument to research the thermal insulation performance of the material.The results show that the third gradient of the plain three-grid/epoxy coated fabric has the best sound insulation.
