The GIS(Geographic Information system)system is currently used in various industrial fields.Among them,POI(Points Of Interest)information is the important data in the GIS system. With the appearance of multiple application maps, different maps have different representations of the same POI information, which leads to the inconsistency of POI information. This directly affects the user use POI information. Therefore, the data fusion and updating of POI information have great significance for GIS system. In this paper, aiming at the problem of data fusion of POI information,an optimization algorithm that combines non-spatial attributes and spatial position to judge POI information matching is proposed. The basic method is as follows: First, based on the POI information after word segmentation, the non-spatial attribute data of POI information points are matched by improved non-spatial attribute algorithm;Secondly, start secondary matching based on the spatial position between the POI information points to determine the overlap of POI in the geographical position;Third,on the basis of former two steps, iterative matching is performed to obtain higher matching efficiency.Fourth, achieve the fusion of POI information data and output the results and solve the problem of POI information data inconsistency by improving the information entropy algorithm. The POI information points is experimented by the algorithm proposed in this paper. The experimental results show that the error value can be controlled within 8.09%.At the same time, the matching efficiency between POI information points is improved to 78.57%,which makes the data fusion of POI information more reasonable and efficient.
