With the rapid urbanization of China,the city is moving towards regionalization and continuous development.Regional structure of urban agglomeration development rapidly,human activities,the city expands,led to the artificial vegetation area within the urban area is instead of Impervious Surface Area.With the development of the city,Impervious surface percentage is an important index of urbanization.Using remote sensing technology and geographic information system to extract the impervious surface distribution of urban agglomeration and expansion is a great significance.It is expounded in this article based on remote sensing image of urban impervious surface of the background and significance of information extraction,this paper introduces the development of impervious surface extraction process by remote sensing,and the related research,summarizes the remote sensing and geographic information system technology in urban impervious surface application status in the study of information extraction.In this paper,using three phase of Landsat remote sensing image to extract the impervious surface information of kunming and Yuxi City.Combining remote sensing technology and geographic information system,the remote sensing data are image registration,radiation calibration and atmospheric correction and image fusion preprocessing,etc.Landsat7 and Landsat8 15 m resolution panchromatic band and multispectral band image fusion,improve the image resolution to 15 m,based on the Vegetation-Impervious-Soil model(V-I-S),use the linear spectral mixture model(LSMM),the corrected normalized water index(MNDWI)was used to distinguish water and masks of water to reduce the impact of water on information extraction,thereby improving the classification accuracy and reducing the difficulty of remote sensing extraction of impervious surface area.Minimum Noise Fractionation(MNF)and Pixel Purity Index(PPI)calculations.Four types of endmembers ground features were selected: vegetation,water,low reflectivity,and high reflectivity to extract impervious surface area information of Kunming and Yuxi city.An accuracy test is performed and analyze the spatial characteristics of impervious surface changes in the area.Feature-based object-oriented classification method was used to extract impervious surface information from the study area.Using Google Earth auxiliary data to evaluat the accuracy of the linear spectral hybrid decomposition model and object-oriented classification method.The highest accuracy of the linear spectral decomposition model has been determined.Construct the tertiary structure of the central city-regional city-county level city,extract the impervious surface information of the three-phase image,and analyze the impervious surface development and change.A comparative analysis of impervious surface information on three levels of urban structure from 2009 to 2017,found that the impervious surface growth rate in Kunming City was the fastest at 5.52%,and the impervious surface growth rate in Chenggong was the second highest at 5.05%.Impervious surface of Yuxi showed a steady increase of 4.21%.From 2009 to 2013,the water area in the study area has decreased.From 2013 to 2017,the water area in the study area has increased significantly.In addition,the reasons for impervious changes are analyzed from the three driving factors of natural geographical factors,cultural factors,and policy factors.
