Core samples are the most intuitive geologic materials obtained by geologist during geolological survey.Hyperspectral imaging can be used on core samples to obtain the core hyperspectral data,and then core mineral analysis data can be obtained by hyperspectral mineral analysisi software.Hower,how to analyse the geological and mineral resources of the exporatinal area with a few core data is an important issue in geological prospecting and information.After reseaching the development of geological 3D reconstruction at home and abroad,this paper studies the key technologies of 3D geological reconstruction and mapping based on computer graphics,and makes use of the core grade and lithology data to realize the 3D modeling and visualization of core,orebody and stratum in the mining area.This paper developes a core data visualization and 3D mapping system based on C++ and OpenGL graphics library.In this paper,the main work and research results are as follows:1)Designs a 3D modeling and visualization method of mineral grade and stratum based on the interval segmentation of mineral grade and color mapping.This method performs 3D modeling of the mineral grade and lithological data on the core sample,and completes the 3D reconstruction based on modeling results.2)Proposes a method of orebody delineation and visualization based on the cutoff grade isosurface.This method delineates the spatial distribution of mineral by the interpolation of cutoff grade isosurface,and completes the 3D visualization of mineral delineation results by reconstructing the upper and lower surface of the orebody.3)Designs a method of orebody cutting in arbitrary angle and grade mapping used Kriging algorithm based on grid model.This method calculates the mineral profile at arbitrary angle through the spatial topology relationship between the mineral grid model and the 3D plane,and uses the Kriging algorithm to interpolate the distribution of mineral grade on the profile.4)Developes a core data visualization and 3D mapping system based on C++ and OpenGL graphics library.This system consists of five functional modules:data analysis and management,3D modeling,3D cutting and mapping and graphics aided operation,it can complete the geological 3D modeling and visualization of the core,surface,orebody,lithologic stratification and stereoscopic mapping.
