In the age of new economy,constant change is becoming a new "normality" for enterprises.As one of the largest retail chain enterprise group in China,V company is driving an important and hard changes.And she developed the Top Management Competency Model so as to guide the leaders support the changes.Meanwhile,in order to develop their competency,V company hope to holding a leaders training program.This paper will analysis V company leaders' competency development.By comparing the requirements and existing status,this paper searches for the development gap,confirms the goal and then designs the contents,methods and tools for development.And supply the valuable solutions for V company leaders' competency development in future.This paper is to develop V company top management competency as the research target.Based on the theory of manager competency and development of research,by using historical data analysis,the methods of interview and questionnaire survey and it collected lots of relevant data of V company.Then finally confirm the requirements of V company top management competency in future.They are unifying their thinking of changes;training their competency to meet the requirements,improving the organization status and pushing important programs of changes to be successful.It researched and analyzed about the current V company top management competency: their fear of changes,their knowing the strategy but cannot recognizing the logic behind.They do not have enough power to push the changes and also have no organization ability to support the company's strategy.The leaders is lack of confidence and cooperation.So we find and confirm their competency development goal and directions.First,it is to promote the leaders self-knowledge,eliminate their fear of changes,promote their transformation development,and promote the confidence and collaboration between each other.Second,it is to enhance the top leaders' understanding of V company strategy,recognize the key factors of the strategy and the focus of the task in changes and the logical relationship between them,and improve their execution of the changes,accelerate the process of changes.Third,it is to determine the organization of implementation company changes,design the solutions to support the strategic,improve their team leadership,and push the change process.Based on the above research,this paper proposes the training program for developing competency special for V company top management.It designs five development models for this program.And gives suggestions according to its contents,methods,tools and the programs' strategy.At the end of the paper,we further prospected the training programs for V company top management competency: The training programs should be based on changes strategy and future.It should based on the Competency Models and connect the personal development and organization changes.By using a variety of training way and methods,it builds the Competency Development system.
