Research On The Management And Development Of Banking Trust Company

After more than 30 years of development,the trust industry has become China's second-largest financial pillar industry,playing a good role in promoting market efficiency and economic development.As the trend of China's financial mixed operation continues to deepen,many commercial banks have started to build their group strategy to achieve integrated operations through mergers and acquisitions of other non-bank financial institutions.Although in terms of operating strength,there is still a large gap between the trust industry and the banking industry,due to the relatively relaxed regulatory environment and flexible investment advantages of trust companies,it can provide diversified investment services.What banks lack.On the other hand,the trust company also hopes to use its high-quality customer resources and perfect sales channels to achieve its own development.In this context,commercial banks started mergers and acquisitions and integrated trust companies to form banking trusts.At present,there are four banking trusts in China,namely BOCOMMTRUST,which is controlled by Bank of Communications,CCBT held by CCB,CIIT held by Industrial Bank,and Shanghai Trust,which is held by Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.It has been ten years since the initial mergers and acquisitions of bank trusts were completed.In terms of their development,their business has certain commonalities,but it is not exactly the same.Since Industrial Trust has achieved rapid development after being acquired,it quickly climbed from the end of the industry to the leading position in the industry,and the restructuring and integration of commercial banks has achieved certain success.Therefore,this paper selected Industrial Trust as its research object and its business development.Start with the model and explore the advantages and problems of the bank's trust development.This article first briefly analyzes the formation background of bank trusts,and explores the underlying reasons for commercial bank mergers and acquisitions of trust companies.Then we reviewed the merger and reorganization process of Industrial Trust and the entire development of the company after the reorganization.From the current operating data,Industrial Trust achieved rapid growth within a few short years after the reorganization.On the other hand,the development of Industrial Trust is "heavy quantity and light quality." The overall development status is unbalanced.Although the overall business scale reaches the top three levels of the trust industry,the company's active management level and profitability have yet to be improved.This article compares and analyzes the specific trust projects of CIIT and CITIC Trust and finds that CIIT obtained a certain competitive advantage through Industrial Bank in the banking and credit cooperation business,trust project contracting and capital costs,but on the other hand,the management style of the bank system.As a result,Industrial Trust's preference for traditional basic industry projects has weak product innovation capabilities and is more rigorous than other trust companies in its risk control review.Therefore,it abandoned some projects with relatively controllable risks.On the other hand,Industrial Trust is in recent years.In the course of the development of the year,it relied excessively on the channel business of the bank and credit cooperation,and the overall operating level and active management capabilities did not increase with the business growth.In the end,this article puts forward some suggestions on the deficiencies in the development of CIIT,and believes that CIIT needs to establish the direction of development of the trust company,get rid of its position as a subsidiary of the bank,actively expand its own related trust business,and improve its business management level.
