Service-oriented manufacturing,as an advanced manufacturing model,is suitable for the servitization of Chinese manufacturing companies, which can encourage companies to ramp up their business to the high end of value chain while consolidating manufacturing business. Its successful implementation relies on the active participation and interaction of customers.Effective interaction helps enterprises to understand the needs of customers at a deeper level, and helps to more specifically configure product service system solutions, which can realize the value creation of both parties. However, due to the limited customer expertise, the complexity of the interaction has been exacerbated and the difficulty in the configuration of the product service system has increased.Based on the literature review of Service-oriented manufacturing, product service systems, and interaction processes,Firstly this study analyzed the process of interaction between supply and demand and product service system configuration, and revealed the impact of interactive processes on the configuration of product service systems.Secondly,a bi-level planning model considering the relevance of product service is constructed,a solving method based on genetic algorithm is given, and the differences in product service system configuration with different related degree of service are explored;finally,A elevator company is adapted as an example,it verifies the important role of interaction between supply and demand in providing customized product service system solutions, and the significance of derived service modules with high relevance to manufacturing companies.Based on research issues, the following conclusions are drawn through the research process:(1)The interaction process is the process of constant communication between customers and enterprises based on the product service plan configuration. In this process, the supply and demand sides learn from each other, manufacturing companies can understand the deeper needs of customers, and provide reserves for further innovation;customers in the interactive process to perceive the value of service delivery, help to more fully understand their own problems. The crux of the matter is that it helps customers to make full use of their product service system solutions to create value.(2)The interaction process helps manufacturers to provide customers with more effective product service system solutions.According to the customer's problems identified by the previous interaction, manufacturing companies can face customer issues and interact with their processes to rationally configure product modules and service modules, which can help reduce manufacturing costs, increase corporate profits, coordinate the conflict of interests between supply and demand, and prevent enterprise technology gluts or Problems such as insufficient functionality.(3)The stronger the complementarity between the product module and the service module is,the effective provision of the product service system solution is more favorable. The real-time information feedback from the customer in the interactive view is beneficial to the timely selection of product modules by manufacturing companies. It also helps manufacturing companies to develop new service modules through service derivative, and the more service-relevant services, they can make up the more for the technical constraints. The resulting product lacks functionality and quality.Interaction under customer participation has become an important feature of service-oriented manufacturing implementation. Its role in the process of product service system configuration and provision is becoming more and more important.Research conclusions have guiding significance and important implications for manufacturing enterprises to implement service-oriented manufacturing.
