The Impact Of Tourist Development On Land Use In Peach Garden Scenic Area

Tourism development cannot be separated from utilization of land resources.In other words,flourishing of tourism development is based on land use.Besides,tourist products,construction and expansion of transportation facilities and infrastructures all rely on land resources.Therefore,prosperity of the tourism industry in one place usually brings a series of changes to the local land use.This suggests a close connection between tourism and land.This paper adopts Peach Garden Scenic Area as a case study,and analyzes the development status of the Scenic Area,land use changes and landscape changes.SPSS21 is used to explore degree of correlation and correlation coefficient between tourism development and the land use type.It is hoped that this research can provide references for tourism development and improvement of land use efficiency of Peach Garden Scenic Area.Below are research results of this paper:(1)The land use structure in the scenic spot has changed dramatically.In 14 years from2001-2015,the areas of the water area,forest land and building land had an increasing trend.The land area decreased by 20.93 km2,the bare land area decreased by 0.28 km2 in total;the variable quantities of the forest land and building land were large,which increased by11.53 km and 8.37 km2 respectively,the annual variation amplitudes were 0.96 km2/a and0.7 km2/a respectively.The variation amplitude of the water area was smaller during the research,which increased by 1.31 km2 and the annual variation amplitude was 0.11 km2/a.(2)The land use dynamic degree 5.3% of the construction land was the largest in2001-2015,followed by that of the farmland with a land use dynamic degree of-4%.The land use dynamic degree of bare land,forest land and water area were smaller,respectively-1.9%,0.9% and 0.3.In 2001-2015,a mass of farmlands were transferred to other land use types,of which the proportion of land transfer was 12.20%,and the proportion of construction land was 47.01%,which indicated that the rapid development of scenic economy led to increasing acceleration of non-agriculturization speed of the plough.The transfer of forest land was mainly due to ecological reforestation and afforestation,and the transfer to the construction land was mainly due to the construction of scenic tourist facilities.(3)Development of tourist resources accelerated land changes.Particularly in terms ofthe construction land use,construction and improvement of service facilities,and expansion of accommodation and other infrastructures have become an irresistible trend of tourism development.In the course of tourism development,there will be difficulties in the supply of land resources,the destruction of local vegetation,and the difficulty of maintaining the existing ecological environment.Thus,it is necessary to put forward a higher requirement of the land use administration.(4)Through the correlation analysis between the total tourism incomes,the total number of tourism and the five types of land use,it is found that there is a positive correlation between the total tourism incomes of the construction land,the forest land and the Peach Garden Beauty Spot and the total number of people of tourism,and there is a negative correlation between the unused land and the farmland.
