Research On The Influence Of China's Logistics Industry On Economic Growth

With the rapid development of China's economy,economic exchanges between regions are becoming more frequent,and the demand for economic integration has made the development of modern logistics a major way to promote economic growth in various regions.With the expansion of logistics industry scale in various regions,the number of enterprises increased and the service capacity increased significantly,which resulted in the regional disparity in the development level of the logistics industry.The logistics industry has become a new fast growth point of China's economy,and its industrial development will have an impact on China's economic growth,which is a topic worth exploring deeply.This paper by reviewing the related literature of logistics effects on economic growth,the definition and scope of the logistics industry,and the logistics industry in China from 2004 to 2016 in industry scale,industry infrastructure,industrial structure,the informationization level four aspects has carried on the descriptive statistical analysis;Then selects 31 provinces in China from 2004 to 2016 in logistics industry scale,industrial infrastructure,industrial structure,the informationization level four aspects,a total of 15 indexes,constructing evaluation system of logistics industry development level,using the factor analysis method of panel data,dimension,empowerment,the data acquired by using entropy value method to determine the level of logistics industry development in our country,to prepare for further analysis below;Finally,with the development level of logistics industry as the explanatory variable,the empirical analysis of the threshold regression model is carried out to study the impact of the development of China's logistics industry on economic growth.Due to the economic growth tends to have been a lot of factors interference,so the introduction of the degree of government intervention,economic openness,capital input level,industrial structure upgrade four control variables,to ensure the authenticity of the results.The empirical results obtained the specific threshold value of the influence of logistics industry on economic growth.This article through studies: basic points of high regional logistics development level in our country is located in the eastern coastal area,its economy is in good condition,huge market demand,urban construction equipment is perfect,is significantly higher than other regions.Threshold is obtained by threshold regression model is 6.5,that is to say,when the logistics industry development level is lower than 6.5,to have a certain role in promoting economic growth,but the promoting effect is not big,when the logistics industry development level is higher than 6.5,its effect on economic growth significantly enhanced,and this effect is often more strongly than usual.Based on models,for our country in recent years,the provincial logistics level groups,you can see in the same period,China's logistics industry in the phase of the overall rise,most of the development of logistics has promoting effect to the economy.Therefore,our government should increase government input and expand industry scale.According to the actual situation,effective implementation of the opening-up policy;Improve transportation infrastructure,improve logistics efficiency,and promote the rapid development of logistics industry.
