Interactive Development Of Manufacturing And Production Services In Northwest Region

Since the 1980 s,when the service industry developed rapidly in the western developed countries and gradually became the pillar industry of the national economy,the service sector accounts for a rising share of the national economy,while the manufacturing sector shrinks and the contribution to the economy continues to decline.According to WDI data of the world bank,the added value of the service sector accounted for 64% of the world's GDP in 2000,compared with 71% in high-income countries and 39% in China.In 2015,the added value of the service industry accounted for 69%,74% and 51% of GDP,and the "economic services" feature of the world economy has become more prominent.In 2008,the America financial crisis spread rapidly around the world,causing a heavy blow to the world economy,and thinking about the relationship between manufacturing and producer services became a breakthrough for every countries to invigorate the economy.In November 2015,the Chinese government issued the outline of the13 th five-year plan for national economic and social development.Manufacture upgrading,information economy and modern service industry become the three main lines of the 13 th five-year plan industrial dimension.In this context,consider whether there is a healthy interaction between the manufacturing industry and the productive service industry it's important to promote regional economic development.This paper takes the northwest region as the research scope,manufacturing and producer services as the object and selects the five northwestern provinces in 2000-2014 statistics to empirical analysis on the interaction between two industry development.Firstly,figuring out the development condition of manufacturing industry and the productive service from the whole and divisions of the industry.Secondly,selecting appropriate variables and using common least square method to promote the development of producer services to manufacturing industry and the development of manufacturing to producer services,to analyzes the interaction between manufacturing and producer services in northwest China.Lastly,establishing a two-industry coupling coordination model,on the basis of the specific quantification of the development degree of the northwest region and the provinces and provinces,to measure the coupling coordination between manufacturing and producer services,and try to find out the factors that influence the coordinated development of manufacturing and producer services in the northwest region.The following conclusions:First,there is a one-way relationship between the manufacturing industry and the productive service industry in Northwest China.The development of manufacturing industry has promoted the development of the local productive service industry to some extent.The development of the productive service industry is not significant to the development of the manufacturing industry,and the two industry relationship is in the stage of interaction.In the stage of interaction,the survival and development of the productive service enterprises depend on the manufacturing industry,and the demand of manufacturing industry is the main motive force for the development of the productive service industry.The manufacturing structure,which relies heavily on resources,human and capital resources mining,processing and metal smelting,is farhigher than the demand for high-end services,while the development of productive services in the northwest is based on transportation,warehousing and postal services,finance and leasing and business services,with high scientific and technological information.The development of transportation,computer services and software industry is lagging behind the development of scientific research,technological services and geological prospecting industry.Therefore,in the low value chain manufacturing industry,the demand for producer services with low technology content can effectively promote the development of regional service industry.On the contrary,because the development of the productive service industry is lagging behind,it can not provide more professional and effective service for the manufacturing industry,so its development is not enough to improve the efficiency of manufacturing industry.Second,the low level of coupling and coordination of manufacturing industry and productive service industry,the difference in the development degree of the productive service industry are the key factors of the difference in the coupling coordination degree of the manufacturing industry and the productive service industry of the five provinces,and also the main reason for restricting the interaction of manufacturing industry and the productive service industry into a higher stage in the northwest.Whether the five provinces of Northwest China are analyzed as a whole and the single column analysis is carried out in the provinces,it is found that the change trend of the development level of the productive service industry and the changing trend of the coupling coordination degree of the two industry show the consistency.The improvement of the development level of the productive service industry has played a positive role in promoting the improvement of the coupling coordination degree of two industries in the region.On the contrary,if the development level of the productive service industry slows down or stagnates,the level of the coupling and coordination of the two industry will fluctuate or even decrease.Finally,the factors that affect the interactive development of the manufacturing industry and the productive service industry in Northwest China can be divided into the internal driving factors represented by the level of regional economic development,the level of industrial development and the operation efficiency of the enterprises,the external environmental factors represented by the scale of the market,the intervention of the government,and the three parts of science and technology represented by the level of innovation,human capital and the investment of scientific research funds.The internal driving factors are the main restricting factors for the interactive development of the two industries in Northwest China.Based on this,I put forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the development of manufacturing industry and productive service industry in Northwest China,including: promoting the optimization and upgrading of the manufacturing industry structure,promoting the development of the productive service industry,establishing the interactive platform of manufacturing and productive service industry,promoting the reform of the state-owned enterprises,and promoting the development of the regional economics.
