Russia's Anti-monopoly Regulation And National Security Review System's Impact On Chinese Enterprises' Investment In Russia

After the global financial crisis in 2008,China's economy entered a “new normal” and economic growth shifted from high-speed growth to high-speed growth.In response to the characteristics of the "new normal" economic development stage,the "19th National Congress Report" proposes that we must seize new opportunities,accelerate the development of an open economy,and support the development of both domestic and international markets.Russia is China's “comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership country” and is influenced by the favorable geopolitical relations between China and Russia.In addition,the economic structure of China and Russia is highly complementary.China's investment and trade with Russia has grown rapidly.However,Russia,as a transitional economic system,still has a long way to go in the establishment of a market economy system.Chinese companies are faced with a series of risks in carrying out investment activities in Russia,among which anti-monopoly review and safety review are the major sources of risk.This article mainly analyzes the key points of the anti-monopoly review in Russia,review standards,review procedures,etc.,and studies its evolutionary rules,and proposes to enterprises and the government that they may encounter and resolve the difficulties of Russian anti-monopoly review and national security review by investing in Chinese enterprises in Russia.policy suggestion.This article starts with the antitrust regulation and the national security review system as the starting point,and then leads the main contents of this article on Russia's anti-monopoly regulation and national security review system;then it analyzes the current status of Chinese companies' investment in Russia,including Chinese companies in Russia.Investment scale,investment industry,investment region,and investment method,etc.Finally,taking the anti-monopoly and national security investigation investigations that Chinese companies have received in the Russian Federation as an example,the impact of Russia's anti-monopoly regulation and national security review on Chinese companies' investment in Russia was analyzed.Based on this research,we will provide advice for Chinese companies investing in Russia.
