| Consumer prices,agricultural prices,and rural residents' consumption have a close relationship.This paper selects the data from the CPI of Guangxi Consumer Price Index,the producer price index of agricultural products,and the growth rate of per capita household consumption expenditure of rural households from 1984 to 2016.By studying the status quo,correlations,and transmission mechanisms among the three,based on the construction of VAR models,Granger causality tests and impulse responses were used to analyze the dynamics of CPI and agricultural product price changes in Guangxi per capita consumption expenditure growth of rural residents.Impacts,explore the internal economic links between Guangxi's consumer price index CPI and producer price index API and per capita consumption growth of rural residents,and measure the impact of Guangxi consumer price index CPI and producer price index API on per capita consumption expenditure of rural residents.In order to find out the impact of related price increases on rural residents' consumption in Guangxi.Further,it provides relevant opinions and suggestions on how to use regulatory prices to guide rational consumption of rural residents,adjust consumption structure,and achieve growth and quality improvement of rural residents' consumption expenditure,with a view to providing some references for expanding rural residents' consumption in Guangxi.The empirical results show that there is a significant correlation between the per capita consumer spending of rural residents in Guangxi and Guangxi CPI and the production prices of agricultural products.The CPI is the Granger cause of per capita consumer spending in rural residents in Guangxi,and the agricultural product production price is the per capita rural residents in Guangxi.The Granger cause of consumer spending,Guangxi CPI,and the production price of agricultural products have affected the per capita consumer spending of rural residents in Guangxi,and the three are strongly related to each other.The per capita consumption expenditures of rural residents of Guangxi are affected by the changes in CPI and agricultural product production prices.The impact is continuous.From the effect size,the impact of CPI is relatively large,and the impact of agricultural product production prices is relatively small. |
